    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a cement admixture used for allowing an uncured cement- containing material (e.g. mortar, concrete or asbestos cement mixture) to manifest a good centrifugal compacting property by a centrifugal compacting method and for finishing the compacted cement-containing material into a cement product having a prescribed performance. CONSTITUTION:A cement admixture for promoting the centrifugal compacting of cement mixtures comprises a high performance water-reducing agent and a polyalkylene oxide. The employment of the cement admixture for promoting the centrifugal compacting increases the resistance of the centrifuged molding against impacts and highly improves the compacting property of the cement mixture, when the cement mixture is molded by centrifugal force. The lime wash-removing rate of the centrifuged cement mixture is enhanced by the use of the cement admixture, and the water in the concrete is highly removed, consequently permitting to lower the ratio of water/cement and to exhibit an excellent effect also in the aspect of the compression strength of a centrifugal specimen.
