PURPOSE: Multi-viewpoint image generating method and apparatus are provided to remove an unnecessary process of rearranging images after completing the images for each viewpoint when generating a multi-viewpoint image. CONSTITUTION: A multi-viewpoint image generating method comprises the following steps: obtaining more than one reference view image using a multi-viewpoint image generator(S510); generating pixels for a virtual viewpoint based on pixels on the reference view image(S520); multiplexing the pixels on the virtual viewpoint and the reference view image(S530); Interpolating the image using multiplexed neighbor pixel information(S540); and outputting the obtained final multi-viewpoint image(S550).

PURPOSE: A channel resource control apparatus on a cable network is provided to effectively manage resources by monitoring transmission states of each channel and transmission performance for data transmission flows in real time. CONSTITUTION: A resource management module(212) establishes and manages physical channel resources of a target apparatus and bonded channel resources. A monitoring module(214) monitors the state of performance of resources in the target apparatus. DOCSIS(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) channel resources of a target system(220) are managed within a head-end by using a remote system(210). The performance of the DOCSIS(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) channel resources are monitored by the remote system.

PURPOSE: A power control apparatus and a method thereof in uplink stream channel bonding are provided to increase signal to ratio of a cable modem and to efficiently reduce interference of an adjacent channel. CONSTITUTION: A CMTS(Cable Modem Termination System)(2) includes a power measuring unit(21) and a power control unit(22). The power measuring unit measures each power of a cable modem. The power control unit controls power of each cable modem based on power of the measured cable modem.

PURPOSE: A channel allocation method and apparatus thereof are provided to transmit a parameter which is necessary for transmitting data by changing EHDR(Extended Header) values according to the request of a user. CONSTITUTION: A transmission apparatus transmits a message which requests information for an available bandwidth of all bandwidths(S100). A reception apparatus receives available bandwidth information. The transmission apparatus transmits parameters for a first channel through an EHDR field based on the available bandwidth information(S122). The first channel is allocated based on the parameter for the first channel.

A repeater having different input and output frequencies converts a signal received with the input frequency to a first intermediate frequency signal based on a local oscillating frequency for intermediate frequency conversion, and converts the first intermediate frequency signal to a second intermediate frequency signal by performing digital processing on the first intermediate frequency signal. Then, the repeater generates a first frequency tone signal that corresponds to a difference between the input and output frequencies, and generates a second frequency tone signal from the local oscillating frequency for intermediate frequency conversion and the first frequency tone signal. The repeater up-converts the second intermediate frequency signal to the output frequency based on the second frequency tone signal, and transmits the signal.

Each of data of two viewpoints, constituting a stereoscopic video, may be received at predetermined time intervals. When first viewpoint video data is received among the data of the two viewpoint, a storage unit of an image processing apparatus may generate a monoscopic video using the received first viewpoint video data. The first viewpoint video data may be stored. When second viewpoint video data corresponding to the first viewpoint video data is received, the stereoscopic video may be generated by mixing the first viewpoint video data with the second viewpoint video data, and thereby be displayed.
