Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and physical properties of a resin, by charging a diene elastomer into a polymerization tank by means of a pipe which is independently and separately provided to reduce the scale of the polymerization tank at the time when a monovinyl monomer is copolymerized in the presence of diene elastomer by an emulsion polymerization process to produce a graft polymer. CONSTITUTION:In an emulsion polymerization process of producing a graft polymer by copolymerizing at least one monovinyl monomer in the presence of a diene elastomer, the diene elastomer is charged into a polymerization tank using an independent pipe separately from a pH controlling agent which controls the acid strength of the polymerization system and other charges which will be introduced continuously or batchwise. As other charges which will be introduced continuously or batchwise, a monovinyl monomer, a molecular weight modifier, an emulsifier, etc. are included.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain the lightness of weight while to improve the accuracy of dimensions, by forming a shaft end by a synthetic resin material with thermal deformation temperature of 80 deg. or more and bending elastic modulus of 200kg/mm or more further with an inorganic filling material addition amount of 50wt.% or less. CONSTITUTION:A roller main unit 3 forms its end part 1 of a shaft, supported to a bearing, by a synthetic resin material with thermal deformation temperature of 80 deg. or more and bending elastic modulus of 200kg/mm or more further with an inorganic filling material addition amount of 50 wt.% or less. A conveying roller is formed by adhesivbly attaching the roller main unit 3 to the shaft end part 1 by an adhesive agent 2. As the synthetic resin material, thermo-plastic resin of reinforced polypropylene, nylon 6, polycarbonate, polyacetal, etc., and/or thermo-setting resin of phenol system resin, melamine system resin, etc., are used. While in the above described resin, glass fiber, carbon fiber, cellulose fiber, etc., and/or talc, mica, etc., of non-fiber system are mixed as the reinforcing material by 50wt.% or less. In this way, the unit attains the lightness of weight while improving the accuracy of dimensions.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide such charging process to obtain a resin of improved physical properties that when carrying out emulsion polymerization of a monovinyl monomer in the presence of a diene elastomer, a pH adjustor and the other continuously charging materials are charged separately into the polymerizer using respectively, mutually independent pipings. CONSTITUTION:In an emulsion polymerization process for producing a graft polymer by copolymerization of at least one kind of monovinyl monomer (e.g., styrene, acrylonitrile, methyl acrylate) in the presence of a diene elastomer (e.g., a copolymer from butadiene and acrylonitrile), a pH adjuster for regulating the acidity of the polymerization system (e.g., sulfuric acid, polyphosphoric acid) and the other continuously charging materials (said diene elastomer, vinyl monomer, emulsifying agent, etc.) are charged separately into the polymerizer using, respectively, mutually independent pipings. In the way, reduced scaling inside the polymerizer at the completion of the polymerization will result, thus enabling the productivity to the enhanced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve dyeability and strength of totally aromatic polyamide yarn, by spinning the totally aromatic polyamide having a repeating unit mostly consisting of 4-methyl-1,3-phenylene isophthalamide and/or 6-methyl-1,3-phenylene isophthalamide, and drawing it under a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:A totally aromatic polyamide having a repeating unit comprising >=95mol% 4-methyl-1,3-phenylene isophthalamide and/or 6-methyl-1,3-phenylene isophthalamide is dissolved in N,N'-dimethl-alkylurea solvent shown by the formula (n is 2 to 3 integer) and spun into a hot air flow. The spun yarn is drawn in mixture (5-40wt% solvent concentration) of the solvent and water at 40-80 deg.C at >=3 draw ratio, immersed in the similar mixture at >=90 deg.C-

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title substance or its anhydride from inexpensive raw materials without handling melts, by reacting nitro-phthalic acid (anhydride) in the presence of a nitrous acid (salt) in an aprotic polar solvent in a specific temperature range. CONSTITUTION:3-Nitro-4-nitrophthalic acid or their mixture or anhydrides are reacted in the presence of notrous acid (salt) in an aprotic polar solvent, e.g. DMSO or DMF, at 50-200 deg.C to give the title acid or anhydride thereof. An alkali (earth) metal nitrite, usually sodium nitrite, may be used as the nitrite, and the amount is 0.05-10mol% based on the nitrophthalic acid. The concentration of the reactants in the solvent is 1-30wt%. USE:Resin modifiers, raw materials for heat-resistance polyimide resins.
