PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive resistive film type touch panel with excellent visibility, which has a pressure detection function that detects the pressing position on a screen (x, y coordinates) as well as the pressure in z axis direction.SOLUTION: The resistive film type transparent touch panel is configured by overlapping a first member and a second member so that first and second transparent conductive films face each other with a predetermined gap. In the first member, the first transparent conductive film as a resistance film is formed on the upper face of a transparent board, and a first pair of electrodes for position detection are formed at the both ends of a first direction of the first transparent conductive film. In the second member, the second transparent conductive film as a resistance film is formed on the lower face of a flexible transparent film, and a second pair of electrodes for position detection are formed at the both ends of a second direction which is orthogonal to the first direction of the second transparent conductive film. The pressing point is detected on the basis of the potentials of the first and second pairs of electrodes for position detection.

SOLUTION: In a transparent touch panel of analog resistive film system in which a lower electrode member having an electrode composed of a transparent conductive film and a pair of parallel bus bars formed on an upper surface of a transparent insulating base material, and an upper electrode member having an electrode composed of a transparent conductive film and a pair of parallel bus bars formed on a lower surface of a flexible transparent insulating base material are superposed so that an inter bas bar direction of the lower electrode member is orthogonal to an inter bus bar direction of the upper electrode member, with a dot-shaped spacer interposed between the upper and lower electrodes, and a peripheral part is bonded by an adhesive layer, a pattern of the electrodes and the pair of bus bars is split into two halves regarding one of the upper and lower electrode members to thereby produce two-split input areas. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection panel with touch input function for an electronic apparatus display window, which can narrow a frame size. SOLUTION: In the protection panel with touch input function for the electronic apparatus display window, an inside edge of a frame-like pasting material for use in adhesion between an upper electrode sheet and a lower electrode panel is partially or entirely brought close to an active area securing the input function, except corner parts. Consequently, the active area (input area) securing the input function is easily widened in the case that external dimensions of the protection panel with touch input function have been determined, and an external shape of the protection panel with touch input function is easily miniaturized in the case that dimensions of the input area have been determined. SOLUTION: The protection film laminate (1) for a touch panel including a protection film (2) to be attached to the surface of a touch panel (12) is composed of a separator film (21), the protection film (2) attached to the separator film through a first adhesive layer (22), and an auxiliary film (3) attached to the upper surface of the protection film (2) through a second adhesive layer (27). The protection film (2) comprises a pair of opposite sides, a horizontal side A (31) and a horizontal side B (32), and the other pair of opposite sides, a vertical side A (33) and a vertical side B (34). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device and a liquid crystal display device, capable of preventing the top surface of a light guide plate of a front light device from being damaged even in disposing the touch panel device on the front light device to perform input operation. SOLUTION: This touch panel device is assembled in the liquid crystal display panel having the front light device 20 and a liquid crystal display 30 to constitute the liquid crystal display device. In the touch panel device, a transparent and flexible shock absorbing layer 18 is disposed on the lower surface of the transparent touch panel 11, and a transparent film layer 19 is disposed on the lower surface of the shock absorbing layer to come into contact with a prism 21a on the top surface of the light guide plate 21 of the front light device 20. The shock absorbing layer absorbs a shock from the prism when the prism is dented at its part contacting the shock absorbing layer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which the upper surface of a light guide plate of a front light device is not scratched even when input operation is carried out with a touch panel device arranged on the front light device. SOLUTION: The touch panel device is constructed in such a way that a transparent and flexible self-healing resin layer (18) is disposed on the lower surface of a transparent touch panel (11) and, at the same time, the self-healing resin layer is disposed so as to be accessible to prisms (21a) on an upper surface of the light guide plate (21). When the prisms are brought into contact with the self-healing resin layer in input operation on the touch panel, the pliability of the self-healing resin layer prevents the prisms from being damaged by generation of a scratch at a point of contact and, at the same time, the flexibility makes the generated scratch part spontaneously restored to the original state after the lapse of time.

SOLUTION: This touch panel is provided with an upper electrode sheet 7 and a lower electrode sheet 14, and an upper laying of circuit 9 for an upper bus bar 6 and a lower laying of circuit 10 for a lower bus bar 3 are formed on the lower face of the lower electrode sheet 14, and the upper bus bar 6 is conducted through a through-hole 11 perforated in the lower electrode sheet 4 with the upper laying of circuit 9.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable and light touch input by defining arithmetic mean roughness in the surface shape of a transparent conductive film as a value in a specified range and defining square root mean roughness as a value in a specified range. SOLUTION: Metallic oxide as an N type semiconductor to be represented by ATO(antimony oxide/tin oxide), FTO(tin oxide/fluorodope), ITO(indium oxide/tin oxide), FATO(antimony oxide/tin oxide/fluorodope) is listed as the metallic oxide to constitute the transparent conductive film 1. Especially, the ITO is suitable since the transparent conductive film 1 itself is not colored and with excellent permeability. PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous inputting due to a wrong touch effectively during pen inputting, by providing a wrong touch inputting unable area in which an electric insulating spacer of a specified diameter is formed in a specified range of pitch. CONSTITUTION: A fixed side electric insulating base material 1 and a movable side electric insulating base material 2 are arranged superimposedly with the direction between both of fixed side and movable side band-shaped electrodes shifted at 90 deg. with each other, as well as both of fixed side and movable side resistant films 20, 10 being countered through a space by means of multiple electric insulating spacers 3. On this occasion, a wrong touch inputting unable area is formed on the film 10, or the film 20 with a specified pitch by means of an electric insulating spacer 3 of specified diameter. A diameter of one of the spacer 3 in the area 4 and the other area is made approximately 20μm to 70μm as well as a pitch of the spacer 3 in the area 4 is made in a range of approximately 200μm to 500μm. Thereby, the wrong touch information during pen inputting is not inputted and erroneous inputting can be prevented as the resistant film is not touched by the wrong touch during pen inputting in the area 4.

PURPOSE:To increase input resolution and improve the reliability of the insulation between stuck upper and lower electrodes by separating the upper and lower transparent electrodes with a spacer made of photo-resist, and sticking beads on the spacer. CONSTITUTION:Beads 4 are mixed in liquid photo-resist, the liquid photo-resist is coated on at least one electrode face side of two transparent electrodes 2, 2 made of a transparent touch panel, and it is exposed and developed into the pattern of a required spacer 3 to form the spacer 3 stuck with beads 4. The diameter of the bead 4 is preferably set to 2-15mum. The impossible-input portion is reduced, the reliability of a gap between two electrodes 2, 2 is increased, and a transparent touch panel with the spacer 3 rarely visible externally is obtained.
