The shutter mechanism 18 is provided with a first shutter member 21 supported turnably around nearly a central part on the nearly central part of one main surface of the cartridge main body 8. Then, the table entering opening part 15 and the recording/reproducing opening part 16 are formed continuously on the cartridge main body 8.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller for stepping motor which can-transfer at a high speed a body to be driven to a target position on a body to which the body is to be transferred, even when the self-starting frequency of the body to be driven is low at the starting time. SOLUTION: A stepping motor 16 which transfers a carriage 14A mounted with a magnetic head 14 transfers the magnetic head 14 to a target position on a floppy disk 17, when a drive pulse having a prescribed duty ratio is supplied to the motor 16. When the magnetic head 14 is accelerated, a drive circuit 6 shortens the supplying period of the drive pulse having the prescribed duty ratio, and when the head 14 is decelerated, the circuit 6 prolongs the supplying period of the drive pulse. Therefore, the magnetic head 14 can be positioned to the target position on the floppy disk 17 with good accuracy in a short time, because the head 14 is accelerated when the drive pulse is impressed upon the head 14 in the short period after the head 14 has started to run and decelerated, when the drive pulse is impressed with a long period, while the head 14 is run at a high speed.

The fixing body is a rigid plastic molded object and consists of the following; a bonding part 26 having a bonding surface to which the chip 12 is bonded, on the upper surface, an extension part 28 stretching from the bonding part 26, and a wiring pattern 30 which is formed of metal and arranged on the surfaces of the bonding part 26 and the extension part 28 so as to correspond to the lead terminals of the chip 12. The respective lead terminals of the chip 12 are bent along the outer edge of the chip 12 and electrically connected to wirings corresponding to wiring patterns of the fixing body.
