Abstract:
By storing usage history information of a recording medium for recording information, which is obtained by using the recording medium, in storing means 13 , and retrieving information that matches a user's preference from a plurality of information based on the usage history information, a program that matches the user's preference can be easily retrieved without inputting key information for retrieving information, hence time and effort in retrieving information can be further reduced.
Abstract:
Information about the history of use of a recording medium on which information is to be recorded is stored in storage means (13), and information satisfying the user's taste is retrieved from an information set according to the use history information. As a result, a program satisfying the user's taste is readily searched for without inputting key information for retrieving information, and the trouble for searching for information is significantly lessened.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose remarkably improved retrieval efficiency at the time of retrieving information in an information display device. SOLUTION: Preference information showing the preference of a user is previously stored in a storing means and at the time of displaying plural headline information on a display means 8, heading information showing the contents of information matching the preference of the user is displayed on the means 8 based on preference information. Thus, desired information can easily be retrieved from in a huge number of information, thereby retrieval efficiency at the time of retrieving information can remarkably be improved.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect housed plural disks from dust, etc. SOLUTION: Erected walls 4e are provided at one each side of plural disk trays 4, which are housed in a main body 2 of the cartridge, of the sides pulling out from the cartridge main body 2. An opening part 5 of the cartridge main body 2 is closed in such a manner that the erected walls 4e of the respective disk trays 4 are laid over each other in the state the disk trays 4 are housed in the cartridge main body 2. In the state the disk trays 4 are taken out from a disk drive device 20, the disk trays 4 are fixed by a lock member 7 to the state where it is housed in the cartridge main body 2.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discriminate one disk cartridge from the other disk cartridge by forming one side face to be used as the insertion end of a cartridge body into a disk drive device in which a disk is housed so as to be rotatable, nearly in an arc shape. SOLUTION: The front face 4a to be used as the insertion end of a cartridge body 4 with reference to a disk drive device is formed to be an arc shape which is nearly the same as a disk 5. In addition, in the rear surface of the cartidge body 4, an opening part 6 for recording and/or reproducing is opened and formed up to the side of the front face 4a from the central part. The opening part 6 is blocked up by a shutter member 7 which is attached to the front face 4a of the cartridge body 4 so as to be freely slidable. Since the whole shape is largely different from a rectangular disk cartridge in the manner, it can be discriminated easily, and it is possible to prevent that a user erroneously loads it into a disk drive device whose recording and reproducing system is different. In addition, since the front face 4a is formed in an arc-shape, a wasteful space part can be eliminated.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a plurality of disks different from each other in outer diameters and to increase the storage capacity of a disk having a relatively small outer diameter. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first turntable having an engaging projecting part 25 engaged with each of the center holes of a first optical disk in a first disk cartridge 5 and a second optical disk in a second cartridge disk 6 and a mounting part 28 for mounting the first and second optical disks. This device is also provided with a second turntable 17 having a mounting part 33 positioned in the outer peripheral side of the mounting part 28 of the first turntable 16 for mounting the first optical disk, a spindle motor 20 for rotating the first and second turntables 16 and 17 and a rotary shaft 18 for supporting the first turntable 16 to be freely rotated. The second turntable 17 is disposed so as to be disconnected from the first turntable 16.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide an insertion direction for a recording and/or reproducing device. SOLUTION: In a plurality of the kinds of disk cartridges 1 and 2, cartridge bodies 9 and 34 that accommodate magnetooptical disks 7 and 8, and insertion guides 13 and 35 that project on the main surfaces of the cartridge bodies 9 and 34 for forming and guide an insertion direction to a recording/reproducing device 60 are provided, a plurality of types of magnetooptical disks 7 and 8 with different outer diameters are accommodated, and the width of the cartridge bodies 9 and 34 for orthogonally crossing the insertion direction to the recording/reproducing device 60 is different. In each of the cartridge bodies 9 and 34 of the disk cartridges 1 and 2, the width direction of each of the insertion guide parts 13 and 35 in parallel with the width direction of the cartridge bodies 9 and 34 is formed in parallel each other.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a mounting position of pickup device to any one direction of the same direction or orthogonal direction to the disk cartridge inserting direction or both of these directions by structuring a shutter to be movable in the diagonal direction to the inserting direction where the cartridge cabinet can be placed near the pickup device. SOLUTION: A cartridge cabinet 10 is provided with an almost W-shape aperture window 20 with inclination of about 45 degrees to the inserting direction X and is also provided with an internal cover 21 to close the aperture window 20 from the internal side. The internal cover 21 is also provided with a front aperture 11a and a lateral aperture 11b to expose a part of an optical disk D accommodated in the inside. A slide shutter 12 for opening and closing the front aperture 11a and lateral aperture 11b is provided at the aperture window 20 and it is always urged to close the front aperture 11a and lateral aperture 11b with a spring force. Thereby, just suitable shape can be obtained as the driving device for personal computer and portable disk recording/ reproducing device.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a program meeting preference of a user who uses a communication terminal, by providing the user with program guide information meeting the preference of the user, irrespectively of a position of the user. SOLUTION: A mobile phone MS2 transmits a user ID to an electronic program guide (EPG) server 71, receives EPG data meeting the preference of a user, transmitted from the EPG server 71 as a result of user ID transmission, generates reservation program data for reserving a program selected from the received EPG data by the user and transmits the generated reservation program data to an integrated receiver decoeder (IRD 5) to cause the IRD 5 to set a reservation. Thus, irrespectively of the position of a user who uses a communication terminal device, the user can be provided with program guide information meeting the preference of the user, and a program meeting the preference of the program can be recorded. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time required for retrieving index information by previously storing taste information showing the taste of a user, and retrieving the index information suited to the taste out of plural kinds of index information. SOLUTION: When the program taste information of a viewer is inputted through a remote commander to an IRD 5, a CPU 11 stores that program taste information in a flash memory 31. In such a state, when it is detected that EPG data S16 stored in a RAM 13 are updated, on the basis of the program taste information stored in the memory 31, the CPU 11 retrieves the program suited to the taste of the viewer out of a lot of programs contained in the data S16 and stores the retrieved result in the RAM 13 as EPG retrieval data. When the viewer performs the display operation of a program table by using the remote commander, the CPU 11 displays the table of programs suited to the taste of the viewer on the display screen of a monitor on the basis of the EPG data stored in the RAM 13.
