Abstract:
A tape cartridge housing a magnetic tape includes an auxiliary storage medium having a storage unit in which to store the recording medium information such as design parameters or the number of times of recording and/or reproduction of the magnetic tape, and a transmission/reception unit for effecting inputting/outputting of the recording medium information with the recording and/or reproducing apparatus. The auxiliary storage medium is mounted so that the transmission/reception unit is exposed to outside through an opening provided in a lateral surface of the main cartridge body unit not obstructing the loading of the magnetic tape, that is in a surface of the main cartridge body unit other than its front surface as an inserting end of the tape cartridge into the inside of the recording and/or reproducing apparatus. The auxiliary storage medium has an antenna constituting the transmission/reception unit for inputting/outputting the recording medium information with the recording and/or reproducing apparatus. It is through this antenna that the power is supplied from the auxiliary recording and/or reproducing unit provided on the recording and/or reproducing apparatus in accordance with a non-contact system transmitting the recording medium information and the power overlaid on the recording medium information.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a disk cartridge by prolonging/opening it from a nearly central part of a disk housing case in a radial direction outer side and tilting the direction that an opening window making a head part insertable is prolonged for a moving direction of a shutter member making the opening window opening/closing free. SOLUTION: The opening window 14 communicating with a central hole 16 is provided on a lower half 13b of a disk cartridge 11. The direction R that the opening window 14 is prolonged is set by tilting by a prescribed angle for the moving direction X of a slide shutter 15. The slide shutter 15 is provided with a hole opening/closing part 15a and a window opening/closing part 15b covering the central hole 16 and the opening window 14. Thus, when the slide shutter 15 is opened, since the matter that the window opening/closing part 15b is projected from an outer periphery of a CD-R (disk like storage medium) on one side of the moving direction X is eliminated, three corners of left upper/ lower, right lower are removed, and the small-sized disk cartridge 11 is constituted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk driving device capable of preventing the inside of the device from being seen even at the time of inserting a recording medium and also capable of being miniaturized and a recording and reproducing device in which the driving device is used. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the drive device main body 11 provided with a housing part capable of housing a FD 15 and an inserting port through which the FD 15 is to be inserted and a lid 13 which is rotatably provided in the vicinity of the port part and which closes the port. The lid 13 is provided with a slope 13a having the angle of the extent that the lid 13 is rotated with respect to the drive device main body 11 by allowing the FD 15 to abutte on the lid 13 at the time of inserting the FD 15 and a corner part 13b to be engaged with the end part of the FD 15 when the FD 15 is loaded in the housing part. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain simplification of the structure of a tape reel and easiness of the assembling of a magnetic tape, in the case a latest recording/reproducing device with built-in magnetic tape is provided for which the magnetic tape originally used as removal media is used as fixed type recording media similar to a hard disk, etc., without adhering the compatibility. SOLUTION: The magnetic tape 5 wound between supply and take-up reels 3, 4, a capstan 8 for driving the running of this magnetic tape 5, a rotary head drum 11 for recording/reproducing the information against the magnetic tape 5, and the like, are all housed in one hermetically sealed case 2, then upper flanges of the supply and take-up reels 3, 4 are obviated and also a pair of these upper flanges are shared by one fixed upper flange plate.

PURPOSE: To protect respective components from impact force caused by inserting a recording medium and to stabilize a loading operation and an ejecting operation. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a cartridge holder 21 into which a tape cartridge 2 is inserted and held, a holder movement operation mechanism 26 for operating the movement of the cartridge holder 21 between an inserting/ ejecting position and a loading position and a driving motor 25 for operating the drive of the holder movement operation mechanism 26. The holder movement operation mechanism 26 has a movable slide plate 35 at one side and a limiter plate 38 connected to the slide plate 35 via a limiter spring 37. When the tape cartridge 2 is inserted into the cartridge holder 21, energizing force is imparted by the limiter spring 37 to the tape cartridge 2 to absorb a load. When the tape cartridge 2 is pushed in toward the loading position, a driving gear 46 is rotated in the direction of loading operation of the tape cartridge 2. By this method, the driving gear, etc., are protected from an overload, thereby the device is stably operated.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To excellently reproduce a still by making a tape travel a little after the traveling of the tape is stopped, locking a reel on a supply side thereafter, returning the tape to a regular stop position and relaxing the tension of the tape. CONSTITUTION:When the stop position of the tape is decided, a system controller 20 makes a capstan driving circuit 22 output a pulse-like driving voltage, for example, to a capstan motor 23 for a very short time. Then, a capstan 9 is turned a little and the magnetic tape 2 is moved forward (in a proceeding direction at the time of reproducing). When it is moved as long as prescribed length, a reel brake is turned on and a supply reel 3 is locked. Then, by reversely rotating the capstan 9, the tape 2 is moved backward (in the proceeding direction at the time of rewinding). Thus, the tension of the tape is lowered and an accident that the tape is damaged hardly occurs even when the still is continuously reproduced for a long time under such a state.
