SOLUTION: In this lens holder 4, a 1st optical axis direction reference surface 4a1 and the 2nd optical axis direction reference surface 4b1 of a 2nd attaching part 4b are formed toward an object side, and become a reference surface for deciding a distance between the 1st and the 2nd lenses 2 and 3 in the optical axis direction. The surfaces 4a1 and 4b1 function also as a reference surface for regulating the inclination of the lenses 2 and 3.

SOLUTION: A magneto-optical head 25 is equipped with lenses 41, 42 to make light irradiating on a magneto-optical recording layer 2a of a magneto- optical disk 2 to converge and with a coil part 46 which is a magnetic field generating element arranged on the side opposite to the magneto-optical disk 2 on a coil-supporting substrate 44a on the lense 41. On the coil-supporting substrate 44a on the lense 41, a projecting part 44b is provided which is formed of an outgoing radiating surface 44d projecting from a recessed part 44c arranged with the coil part 46, towards the side of the magneto-optical disk 2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform focus servo even when an optical lens is held in optical contact with an optical disk. SOLUTION: The light converging means 41 of an optical pickup is composed of a first optical convergence system 43 and a second optical convergence system 44 in this order from the side of an optical disk 1, and the first optical convergence system 43 is held at a prescribed distance in the focus direction by a holding means 43b and is provided with a reflection part 46 out of the optical axis of the surface on the side of the optical disk 1. Shifting of the second optical convergence system 44 is controlled in the focus direction, and based on the light of a side beam reflected by the reflection part of the first optical convergence system, a servo circuit performs focus servo control of the light converging means by controlling the shifting of the second optical convergence system in the focus direction.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens capable of obtaining sufficiently high numerical aperture(NA), sufficiently correcting color aberration, making light in weight and facilitating manufacture by using low dispersion glass material whose Abbe number is spedified for glass material constituting two lenses as a color aberration countermeasure for two lenses of two groups. SOLUTION: The objective lens possesses the constitution of two groups being two lenses formed of the glass material whose Adde number at a (b) line is >=40, and at least one surface is made as an aspherical surface, and the numerical aperture is made as >=7.0. Thus, the objective lens is constituted of a first lens 3 arranged on the side of an object (the side of a light source) and a second lens 4 arranged on the side of an image(the side of an optical recording medium). A plane parallel plate 5 equivalent to the transparent substrate of the optical recording medium is arranged on the side of the image of the objective lens. In this case, the low dispersion glass material is used for the glass material so as to suppress the color aberration.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of spherical aberration in an optical disk device. by moving a first lens and a second lens in an optical axis direction of a light beam and relatively moving one side of the first lens and the second lens with respect to the lens of other side in the optical axis direction of the light beam. SOLUTION: Since an actuator 6 is made so as to relatively move a front cell lens 3 in the optical axis direction with respect to an objective lens 4, it is possible to adjust the interval between the front cell lens 3 and the objective lens 4. Moreover, since an actuator 7 is a biaxial actuator, the actuator 7 is made so as to move the front cell lens 3 and the objective lens 7 in the optical axis direction and also to move them in a direction perpendicular to tracks of an optical disk 1. By such a constitution, the distance of an air gap 8 can be adjusted by the actuator 7 and also the interval between the front cell lens 3 and the objective lens 4 can be adjusted by the actuator 6.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reproduce at least two kinds of optical disks having different track pitches with high accuracy and reliability by simple adjustment. CONSTITUTION: A diffused laser beam transmitted from a light source 11 is diffracted by a diffraction grating 12 and divided into three beams of a zero order, ±1st order beams. The respective laser beams diffracted by the diffraction grating 12 are reflected by a beam splitter 13 and introduced to an objective lens 9. The objective lens 9, whose tracking and focusing are controlled by a biaxial mechanism 10, converges the respective laser beams on the information signal layer e.g. a first information signal layer la and a second information signal layer 1b of a double layer optical disk 1 and forms three spots. Three reflected laser beams from the information signal layer 1a or the information signal layer 1b of the double layer optical disk 1 reach the light receiving surface of a photodetector 14 through the objective lens 9 and the beam splitter 13.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To draw an ideal track trace at recording even with the optical recording media in which a pre-formatted track does not exist. CONSTITUTION:Through a rotational optical scanning system, the light from a light source placed outside of the rotational optical scanning system is irradiated to an optical recording media and thus information is recorded in a recording media. Before information is recorded in an optical recording media, a reference recording media 12 on which an ideal track trace is formed is reproduced by executing tracking control. The information related with tracking control which is obtained at the above stated process is stored in a wave form memory 33. By using this stored information related with tracking control, information is recorded on an optical recording media while scan-controlling a recorded optical spot in order to draw an ideal track trace on it.
