Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce sliding resistance and sliding viscosity resistance while keeping a clearance highly accurately, and to eliminate adverse effect caused by dust, etc., in an engagement relation between a lens moving frame and a guide shaft. SOLUTION: In the lens barrel having two guide shafts 11 and 12, and a focus lens 7 which is supported by the guide shafts 11 and 12 and is driven by a linear motor 18 to be moved in an optical axis direction, the bearing structure 17 of a lens holding frame 10 for holding the focus lens 7 and at least one of the guide shafts is constituted of a 1st contact surface in contact with the guide shafts 11 and 12 or a bearing hole 10c at a prescribed clearance in order to secure the moving accuracy of the focus lens 7 and a 2nd contact surface in contact with the guide shafts 11 and 12 or the bearing hole 10c at a clearance larger than that of the 1st contact surface.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of diffraction by a transparent part being very small in an intermediate aperture in the process of reaching a small aperture. Then, a second ND filter 23 is attached to one aperture blade 3, to cover a part of the aperture diameter forming notch 14 of the aperture blade 3, so that the area covering an aperture 30 of the first ND filter 22 is made different from that of the second ND filter 23.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a head to normally float despite of surface wobbling of a disk. SOLUTION: This actuator has tow suspensions 2a, 2b arranged plane- symmetrically to a disk, a holding part 3 to hold the two suspensions, a driven part 6 driven by a voice coil motor, and a joint part 7 joining the holding part with the driven part in the direction perpendicular to the disk surface in a flexible structure. When the height of the disk shifts for above, the upper suspension is more deformed than the lower suspension, a reaction force given to the upper suspension by the disk is layer than that given to the lower suspension, and an upward force acts on the holding part. Since the joint part has a flexible structure in the vertical direction, the holding part moves up until the force is brought into balance. As a result, a positional relationship between the disk and the upper and lower suspensions approaches to an ideal state.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal a fluid for a bearing in a bearing cylindrical body without using a magnetic fluid. SOLUTION: A shaft 16 is inserted into the cylindrical body 30 of a cylindrical bearing part, and a viscous fluid 32 is sealed in between this shaft and the cylindrical body, so as to form a fluid bearing part 50 in this cylindrical body. A fluid sealing means 60 is provided on the upper end of the fluid bearing part. The sealing means is composed of only mechanical elements such as a groove 62 formed in a circumferential surface of the shaft or in an inner wall of the cylindrical body and a V-shaped projecting part 64 for generating air pressure formed at an upper end of the groove. Since a magnetic fluid is not used, no leakage of such a magnetic fluid itself takes place. Since an annular magnet for attracting this magnetic fluid is not required, a space for this magnet is saved, and hence miniaturization and thin formation are realized.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble caused by erroneous loading by accommodating rotatable a disk into a case obtained by combining an upper and lower shells and structuring the facility to drive the disk from the external side. SOLUTION: If a disk cartridge 1 is loaded erroneously with the front side reversed, the longer side surface 1c of the disk cartridge 1 is located at the right side of the aperture in the figure, but, before the disk cartridge 1 is fully loaded, the side surface 1c collides with a stopper member 48 and can no longer be loaded anymore. Thereby, since the disc cartridge 1 is not placed in contact with a head 50 of an actuator 49, the head 50 is not broken even by erroneous loading.

And the front end of a disk cartridge 1 is provided with an offset arc section 6 to make it possible to effectively use space in a mechanical chassis 17, as compared with prior art quadrangular disk cartridges.
