    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce adhesion to a thermal head, to provide high sensitivity and excellent curl by providing specific values of peak peeling temperature, melting energy and glass transition temperature of characteristics of resins of layers of a two-layer laminated film and providing specific relationship between the peeling temperature and the transition temperature of each layer. CONSTITUTION:A two-layer laminated film comprises a layer A and a layer B, wherein characteristics of resins of the layers are such that the layer A has a peak melting temperature TmA>=150 deg.C, melting energy DELTAHA>=0.1cal/g, and glass transition temperature TgA>=30 deg.C, and the layer B has a peak melting temperature TmB =TmB+5 deg.C, TgA>=TgB+3 deg.C. As a result, a thermal head has low adhesion, high sensitivity, and further the film for a thermal stencil printing base sheet having excellent curl, printing durability can be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:In a polyester film for a label, a B-layer composed of a polyester resin B copolymerlzed with cyclohexanedimethanol is laminated on at least the single surface of an A-layer composed of a polyester resin A and, next, a C-layer composed of a water-soluble or water-dispersible resin is laminated on the B-layer and embossing processing is applied to the surface of the C-layer.

CONSTITUTION:The objective white film is produced by diluting (A) a resin (e.g. polyester resin) filled with a large amount of inorganic particles such as rutile titanium oxide having an average particle diameter of 0.1-0.5mum with (B) other resin preferably containing >=10wt.% of a resin B' having an intrinsic viscosity higher than that of the resin A by 0.03 and forming the blended resin composition in the form of a film.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain good transparency and easy slip properties and to prevent the generation of rupture at the time of film formation by providing a base material layer composed of a polyester resin having intrinsic viscosity A and the film layer having thickness Tmum and composed of a polyester resin film having intrinsic viscosity B containing inorg. particles having an average particle size (d)mum and setting A, B, T, (d) so as to satisfy specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:A base material layer composed of a polyester resin having intrinsic viscosity A and the film layer having thickness Tmum and composed of a polyester resin having intrinsic viscosity B containing inorg. particles having an average particle size (d)mum are provided and B, A, T, (d) satisfy conditions of 0.5>=B-A>=0.02 and 25>=T/d>=1.5. The average particle size (d) of the inorg. particles is set to 0.2 - 1.0mum and the addition amount of the inorg. particles to the polyester resin having intrinsic viscosity B is set to 1wt.% or less. When the polyester resin having intrinsic viscosity higher than that of the base material layer is used on the side of the film layer, the rupture at the time of film formation can be reduced. Further, since the height of the projections formed on the side of the film layer by org. particles can be increased at the stretching time of a film, good easy slip properties can be imparted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the moisture resistant adhesiveness of a resin layer and base material film and to eliminate the defect by the cleavage of the resin layer by providing a magnetic recording layer on a polyester film which has the resin layer having a prescribed degree of orientation and thickness and consisting of a water soluble or water dispersible resin on one surface and which has the optical density of a prescribed value or above. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic recording layer is formed on the polyester film which has the resin layer having 0.03 to 0.6 degree of orientation and 0.001 to 3.0mum thickness and consisting of the water soluble or water dispersible resin on one surface and has >=0.5 optical density and >=80% whiteness and the magnetic recording card is constituted of the polyester film formed with such magnetic recording layer. The water soluble or water dispersible resin of this magnetic card is an acrylic resin, polyester resin, urethane resin or vinyl resin or the mixture composed thereof. The moisture resistant adhesiveness of the resin layer and the base material film is thus improved and the adhesion defect by the cleavage of the resin layer is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent decrease of sensitivity, and density decrease and fading of a recorded image from occurring by adding a polymer having a specific repetitive unit as a main component within a specific range rate in a sublimate dye accepting layer. CONSTITUTION:A sublimate dye accepting layer contains 5wt.% or over up to and including 95wt.% of a polymer A having a repetitive unit as given in the formula I as a main component in a sublimate transfer recording image receiving having the sublimate dye accepting layer at least on its side surface. In the formula I, R indicates hydrogen, or methyl radical, M indicating hydrogen, alkali metal, alkali earth group or ammonium, and R1, R2, R3 and R4 indicate respectively hydrogen, halogen, alkyl radical or alkoxy radical. As a representative example of a polymer having such a structure, a copolymer with acrylic acid, acrylic ester, methacrylic acid, methacrylic ester or styrene in a form of the formula II, and otherwise a polymer composed of only the formula III can be exemplified. Sensitivity is increased thereby, and density decrease and fading of an image when recording speed is increased are prevented.
