PURPOSE: A Cel3-KG22 product, cellulase, is provided to be used in a feed additive and a detergent composition by finding a cellulase gene from a ruminant stomach microorganism of a black goat, to develop biofuel. CONSTITUTION: A cellulase protein derived from a ruminant stomach microorganism has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A gene encodes the cellulase protein. A recombinant vector contains the gene. The host cell is transformed by the recombinant vector. A method for producing a large amount of cellulase from the host cell comprises a step of transducing the recombinant vector to the host cell and overexpressing cellulase.

PURPOSE: A marker for early diagnosing hip joint dysplasia in a dog is provided to specially care a dog with risk of hip joint dysplasia and to predict genetic information. CONSTITUTION: An SNP for early diagnosing hip joint dysplasia in a dog contains one or more polynucleotides selected from polynucleotides containing 10 or more bases containing each SNP base or complementary polynucleotide thereof. A microarray for early diagnosing dysplasia contains the SNP polynucleotide, polypeptide encoded by the polynucleotide, or cDNA thereof.

PURPOSE: A method for selecting backfat thickness of a pig is provided to measure accurate genetic ability and to raise pig with high quality. CONSTITUTION: A SNP of leptin receptor gene(LEPR) is used as a molecular marker for evaluating phenotype of a pig. The SNPs are -200, -124, -25 or +161 loci mutant based on transcription initiation base(+1). The phenotype is backfat thickness of pig. A microarray for selecting the backfat thickness contains the molecular marker. A method for selecting backfat thickness of pig comprises: a step of obtaining a biological sample having a LEPR gene; a step of amplifying the LEPT gene by PCR; a step of detecting SNP from the PCR product; and a step of selecting SNP having significance in backfat thickness.

PURPOSE: A marker regarding pig intramuscular fat content is provided to ensure exact heredity measuring ability and contributes to the national development of breeding pig. CONSTITUTION: A marker taking part in the pig intramuscular fat content comprises a standard (+1)-196 loci transcription initiation based on adenylate kinase gene transcription regulation region within pig 6 chromosome. The -196 loci is a TT genotype.

CONSTITUTION: The genetic marker of lipoprotein lipase gene for intramuscular fat contents in cattle comprises the nucleotide sequence of intron 6 corresponding to from 212th to 1458th nucleotides in the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 encoding bovine lipoprotein lipase, wherein a 1409th nucleotide is mutated from G to A in the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1; and a primer sequence of the bovine lipoprotein lipase gene comprises the nucleotide sequence of exon 6 corresponding to from 1th to 211th nucleotides, and the nucleotide sequence of exon 7 corresponding to from 1459th to 1554th nucleotides in the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1.
