Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to transmit and receive frame messages having different frame lengths from each other, and to intermix frame messages having different frame lengths from each other to transmit the intermixed result. CONSTITUTION: A message buffer(511) stores a frame message communicated when communicating a frame message via a dedicated channel. A modem controller(513) reads the frame message stored in the message buffer(511), parses a message type from a header of the read message, outputs data of a frame to be transmitted via the dedicated channel according to a message type of the parsed frame, and outputs a frame select signal according to the message type of the parsed frame. The first message generator(550) includes a cyclic redundancy check(CRC) generator(515), a tail bit generator(517), a coder(519), and an interleaver(521), and receives the first frame data from the modem controller(513) to generate the first frame message. The second message generator(560) includes a CRC generator(516), a tail bit generator(518), a coder(520), and an interleaver(522), and receives the second frame data from the modem controller(513) to generate the second frame message. A multiplexer(523) receives outputs of the first and second interleavers(521, 522) and selects any one of the received inputs in response to the frame select signal(SCTL) from the modem controller. A signal converting part(522) converts the frame message from the multiplexer to output the converted values to the first channel and the second channel. Gain controllers(527, 528) receive signals from the control bit inserting part(531) to control a gain of received signals in response to a gain control signal(GCTL) from the controller(513). An orthogonal code modulator(533) generates an orthogonal code in response to orthogonal code number and length of an assigned channel. An extension modulator(535) mixes the orthogonal modulated signal with an extension sequence.

PURPOSE: A hand-off operation apparatus of a mobile communication system having a short synchronous channel and a method of the same are provided for using a forward single synchronous channel which is capable of generating a PN_OFFSET signal. CONSTITUTION: A controller(101) performs a function for enabling and disabling the operations of each channel generator of a base station, processing a message of a physical layer transmitted from the base station and communicating a message with an upper level hierarchy. A pilot channel generator(103), a synchronous channel generator(104), a short synchronous channel generator(105) and a paging channel generator(106) generate a common channel information which are commonly used by the users of one channel or a plurality of channels. An exclusive control channel generator(102), a basic channel generator(107) and an additional channel generator(108) generate a subscriber exclusive channel information which is allocated differently for each user.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a continuous outer power control loop is provided to control the outer power control loop regardless of data, by tabling frame error rates for signal-to-noise(SN) ratios, and by referring to the tabled frame error rates to decide whether frames have errors when the data is not transmitted in a discontinuous transmission mode of a code division multiple access(CDMA) communication system. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling a continuous outer power control loop comprises a cyclic redundancy check(CRC) error detector(925), a frame detector(924), a signal-to-noise ratio calculator(919), a data detector(927), and a frame error detector(929). If a frame is received, the CRC error detector checks an error of the frame to output a checked result. The frame detector measures energy of the frame to output the frame. The signal-to-noise ratio calculator calculates signal-to-noise ratios to output the ratios. The data detector receives the checked result and the frame energy to generate an existing frame flag message. The flag message presents whether a frame exists or not. If a frame received by the flag message exists, the frame error detector outputs the checked result to the outer power control loop. If the frame does not exist, the frame error detector estimates a frame error by the signal-to-noise ratios.

PURPOSE: A reservation multi-access control apparatus and method in mobile telecommunication system is provided to assign a reward common channel by a base station and control the power of the reward common channel. CONSTITUTION: A reservation multi-access control apparatus in mobile telecommunication system comprises a hash identifier of plural bits and traffic information of plural bits. The hash identifier causes a terminal to privately use a reward common channel. The traffic information displays the traffic information of the reward common channel. A base station assigns the reward common channel in response to the access request message of the terminal, which transfers the message to the base station through the assigned reward common channel.

PURPOSE: A channel communication device and method in telecommunication system using transmission antenna diversity is provided to effectively use limited code without other code for a common channel, to reduce power consumption and to enhance the capacitance of a mobile station. CONSTITUTION: A channel communication device in telecommunication system using transmission antenna diversity comprises at least two antennas(A,B), a common channel transmitter and a dedicated channel transmitter. The common channel transmitter alternately switches forward common channel data in first and second periods through the antennas to transmit them. The dedicated channel transmitter transmits forward dedicated channel data to an antenna selected from the two antennas by an antenna switching indication from a mobile station.

PURPOSE: Diffusion sequence generator and method in CDMA communication system are provided to produce various kinds of spreading codes, and reduces PAR without a deterioration of BER performance. CONSTITUTION: A spreading signal generation method of CDMA communication system generates PN code having PNi and PNq, performs QPSK phase transition about previous spreading signals(Ci,Cq) after receiving the PN code, performs +90°C phase transition or -90°C phase transition, performs 180°C phase transition or 0°C phase transition. After that, the method selectively outputs the phase transition spreading signal according to a predetermined order. Thereby, the method reduces PAR without a deterioration of BER performance.

PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling an electric power is provided to reduce an excessive signal electric power of a reverse direction link common channel in a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: A controlling method for a transferring electric power contains; a process for cumulating electric power controlling signals being received for a certain period through a forward direction common channel for generating a cumulative value; and a process for comparing the cumulative value with a pre-established standard value for generating a transferring electric power controlling command to reduce a transferring electric power in case of less cumulative value than the standard value and for maintaining the present transferring electric power in case of larger cumulative value than the standard value. Therefore, an interrupt caused by an excessive signal power generated in a state of a competition of plural terminals trying to access at the same time to the reverse direction link common channel in a mobile communication system is reduced.

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for controlling an electric power are provided to efficiently save consumption power within good transmission of punched frame of a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a first power controller(330), a second power controller(340), a first signal regulator(380), a multiplier(370), a signal adder(350) and a second signal regulator(360). The first power controller(330) controls a power gain according to a pilot signal. The second power controller(340) controls a power gain according to a traffic signal. The first signal regulator(380) acquires a compensation gain according to transmission ratio and length of a punched frame from a traffic data by an inter-frequency hard handoff. The multiplier(370) regulates the power gain of the traffic signal from the second power controller(340), so that loss power is compensated. The signal adder(350) adds the compensated traffic signal from the multiplier(370) and the pilot signal from the first power controller(330). The second signal regulator(360) regulates the level of output signal from the signal adder(350).

멀티캐리어 시스템의 송신신호를 사용하는 부호분할다중접속 방식의 통신시스템의 순방향 링크 구현시, 동일 데이터의 심볼이 멀티캐리어 수의 2배 이상 되도록 풀 레이트의 심볼들을 반복 출력하고, 다른 레이트들의 데이터가 풀 레이트의 심볼수와 동일하도록 설정된 횟수로 반복 출력하거나, 또는 풀 레이트의 데이터가 멀티캐리어의 수의 적어도 2배가 되도록 설정된 코딩레이트에 의해 복수 레이트의 데이터들을 부호화한 후, 반복된 동일 데이터의 심볼이 각 캐리어들에 적어도 2개 이상 분배되도록 인터리빙하여 각 캐리어에 인가한다.
