Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for a space bezel interface using image recognition. The space bezel interface method may include a step of dividing a partial area including a user from a camera image that the front side of a display device is photographed, wherein the partial area is outputted through a screen of the display device, and a step of recognizing a gesture according to the movement of the user based on the partial area, wherein the gesture is inputted as a user command related to a bezel area of the display device.

PURPOSE: A user terminal content control method using a side interface and a control device thereof are provided to effectively utilize the effective area of a touch screen by generating an operation area for converting contents as a dragging gesture which advances from a bezel region to a touch screen region. A dragging gesture detection unit (220) detects a dragging gesture which advances from a bezel region on the periphery of the touch screen toward the touch screen. PURPOSE: A display control method and a system thereof are provided to efficiently operate a display and to prevent a narrow display device of a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A server(330) receives image data from a user terminal(320) and a display device(310). The server compares the received image from the user terminal with the entire image of the display device. The server determines that a part of the display device is as an operation area. A controller includes the display device. The controller controls the operation area according to the operation of the user terminal.
