Abstract: PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) mirror device is provided to minimize dazzling of a driver by selecting the reflection rate and reaction speed of an electronic LCD mirror according to the ambient light. CONSTITUTION: An LCD mirror device(100) comprises an LCD mirror(130), an optical sensor(110), an LCD mirror driving unit(120), and a power supply unit(140). The LCD mirror controls the quantity of light reflected to a driver. The optical sensor comprises a rear optical sensor(112) which detects the light entering the LCD mirror and outputs an analog signal and a front optical sensor(111) which detects the incident light around the driver and outputs an analog signal. The LCD mirror driving unit changes the sensitivity of light quantity in the optical sensors, determines the LCD driving voltage corresponding to the brightness difference between the rear incident light and the surrounding incident light, and applies the LCD driving voltage to the LCD panel of the LCD mirror. The power supply unit applies DC(Direct Current) and AC(Alternating Current) power to the LCD mirror, the optical sensors, and the LCD mirror driving unit.
