    Abstract: The invention comprises dyes of the formula and the alkali-metal or ammonium salts thereof, wherein Pc is the radical of copper or nickel phthalocyanine or a copper phthalocyanine having 1 to 4 chlorine atoms or phenyl groups in the molecule, Z1 is hydrogen, chlorine, methyl or methoxy, Z2 is hydrogen, chlorine or a sulphonic acid radical, X is chlorine or bromine, m is a whole number from 0 to 5, n is an integer from 1 to 4 and (n+m) is an integer from 1 to 6. The dyes are made by reacting a sulphonyl chloride of the formula [Pc-]-(SO2Cl)(m+n) with n mols of a compound of the formula and hydrolysing the unreacted sulphochloride groups, or by reacting the above sulphochloride with n mols of a compound of the formula and treating the reaction product with a mineral acid or by reacting a compound of the formula with n mols of mucobromic or mucochloric acid in aqueous mineral acid solution. The dyes dye and print wool, silk, synthetic linear polyamides and cellulose textile materials in blue and green shades, in the case of cellulose in conjunction with an alkali and heat treatment.

    Abstract: The invention comprises water-soluble dyestuffs containing methylol groups and having the formula (HO3S)n-D-(Z)m where D is the radical of copper phthalocyanine, chlor-copper phthalocyanine having 1-4 chlorine atoms per molecule, phenyl-copper phthalocyanine having 1-4 phenyl groups per molecule, nickel phthalocyanine, iron phthalocyanine, aluminium phthalocyanine, diaza-copper phthalocyanine tetramethyl-dibenzo nickel tetrazaporphin or octaphenyl-nickel tetrazaporphin, Z is one of the radicals -SO2NH2, in which all hydrogen atoms capable of reacting with formaldehyde at a pH of 6 to 11 and a temperature of 0 DEG C. to 80 DEG C. are replaced by methylol groups, n is 1, 2 or 3, m is 1, 2 or 3 and (n+m) is 3 or 4, X is hydrogen or sulphonic acid and Y is hydrogen, sulphonic acid or methoxy.     Abstract: Fibres and foils of cellulose are dyed or printed by applying a dyestuff of the formula: in which A represents a tetrazaporphin radical, E represents an aromatic radical containing a mono- or bi-cyclic nucleus, Z represents a radical of the formula: in which R1 and R2 represent hydrogen atoms, alkyl or hydroxyalkyl groups or halogen atoms and R3 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or carboxyl group, m is a number from 1-8 and n is a number from 0-4, and also applying an acid-binding agent before, together with or after the dyestuff. Specified acid-binding agents are alkali-metal or alkaline-earth metal hydroxides, carbonates and bicarbonates and alkali-metal phosphates. If necessary, fixation of the dyestuff may be effected by heating or steaming. The dyestuffs may be prepared by acylating a tetrazaporphin derivative of the formula: with acrylic acid chloride, a - methylacrylic acid chloride, a - chloracrylic acid esters, maleic anhydride or acrylic anhydride.
