    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a sensible image to be efficiently transferred onto an intermediate transfer medium and to have the sensible image on the intermediate transfer medium efficiently retransferred onto a material to be transferred by specifying the swelling rate of a release layer to a liquid toner to a specific value. SOLUTION: The swelling rate of the release layer of the intermediate transfer medium provided with the release layer on the surface to the liquid toner is specified to 5 to 40%. The retransfer from the intermediate transfer medium onto the material to be transferred is inferior if the swelling rate is below 5%. The retransfer from the intermediate transfer medium to the material to be transferred is good and the glossiness of printed images is not good if the swelling rate exceeds 40%. The release layer may be formed of any materials, insofar as the materials satisfy the prescribed swelling rate to the liquid toner. The release layer consisting of a straight silicone resin is used more preferably in terms of durability, film formability and the glossiness of printed images.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a negative electric liquid color developer which exerts excellent white base contaminating characteristic, dispersiveness, electrostatic charging characteristic, retaining property, and fixing performance. CONSTITUTION: A rosin-denatured resin is provided in such a composition that the acid value of resin is 50 to 250, the softening point lies 70-150 deg.C, and that the gum rosin content of the total rosin is over 20%; and toner particles are prepared from 55-92wt.% rosin-denatured resin, 5-30wt.% pigment, and 3-15wt.% plasticizer so that they have a mean particle diameter between 0.5-2.5μm. These toner particles are dispersed in a hydrocarbon solvent having a flash point between 70-120 deg.C.

CONSTITUTION:This original plate is formed by successively laminating the photosensitive layer and a silicone rubber layer on a base and the polyurethane resin contg. polyalkylene glycol is used as a polyol component into the carrier resin of the photosensitive layer. Polytetramethylene glycol is preferably used as the above-mentioned glycol. Isophorone diisocyanate, etc., are usable as the isocyanate component and 1, 4 diaminocyclohexane, etc., are usable as the diamine component.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing a direct lithography type lithographic printing plate capable of regulating an ink supply amount at a printing time by accurately measuring a dot percent and confirming reproducibility of original data of a printing plate. SOLUTION: The method for managing the direct lithography type lithographic printing plate comprises the steps of measuring a reflection absorbance of the pattern having a known dot percent of the direct lithography type lithographic printing plate in which the pattern is formed, then confirming that the relation between the dot percent and the absorbance is simply increased or simply decreased, obtaining the relation between the dot percent (Y) and the reflection absorbance (X) from the measured value, measuring the absorbance of a printing element part of the lithographic printing plate in which a pattern having an unknown dot percent is formed, inferring the dot percent from the obtained relationship, and further regulating an ink supply amount suitable for printing with the plate based on the inferred value.
