    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retransmission control method which prevents the occurrence of unnecessary time-out before reception of a reception response to efficiently transmit data. SOLUTION: Between two stations 1 and 2 which transmit/receive data to/ from through a two-way communication channel, this method retransmits data if one station 1 doesn't receive a response from the other station 2 within a preliminarily determined response wait time after transmitting data. In this case, if one station receives one of at least two kinds of logical channels multiplexed in the communication channel above from the other station 2 within the response wait time measured by a timer 1d after transmitting data to the other station 2 by another logical channel, a retransmission control part 1b makes the response wait time above longer by a preliminarily determined time.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission efficiency by packeting 1st response data preferentially rather than 2nd response data and user data corresponding to packets to be transmitted through an outgoing low-speed transmission system and transmitting these 1st response data through an incoming low-speed transmission system. SOLUTION: The data packet to be transmitted through an outgoing high- speed transmission system 3 is inputted from a 1st reception part 11 to a 1st data packet inspection part 12, the error is inspected, and the inspected result is dispatched to a data packet part 19 as the 1st response data. The data packet to be transmitted through a 2nd low-speed transmission system 4 is inspected at a 2nd data packet inspection part 15, and the 2nd response data are delivered to the data packet part 19. The data packet 19 receives two responses and the user data generated at a 2nd station, stores them, packets these data while selecting them and deliveres them to a transmission part 18. At such a time, the 1st response data are packeted and delivered to the transmission part 18.

A low speed reception means 6 is provided on the base station 5 and receives the radio signal transmitted at the relatively low transmission speed from the terminal via the up link line 4. A high speed transmission means 7 is provided on the base station 5 and transmits the radio signal to the terminal 1 via a down link line 8, at a relatively high transmission speed. A high speed reception means 3 is provided on the terminal 1 and receives the radio signal transmitted from the base station 5 via the down link line 8 at a relatively high transmission speed.

Then a channel corresponding to the measured reception electric field strength is decided and the base stations BS1, BS2 measure a desired wave versus interference wave power ratio (CIR) of an up link of the channel and the mobile stations MS1, MS2 measure the CIR of a down-link, and when they have a prescribed margin or over, the decided channel is allocated. When they do not have the prescribed margin, whether or not other channel is to be allocated is checked.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce the degradation of the transmission quality due to drop-out of a prescribed frequency component in the case of high-speed radio transmission of FSK in transmission line circumstances where multipath delay exists. CONSTITUTION: Diversity switching or synthesis is independently performed for each frequency component in the succeeding stage of band filters 11 to 14 which extract frequency components corresponding to an information signal in an FSK receiver. If multipath delay exists and a frequency component f1 is dropped out in a diversity antenna #1 and a frequency component f2 is dropped out in an antenna #2, the diversity effect appears by this diversity reception though the diversity effect doesn't appear regardless of non- correlations between two antennas in a conventional FSK receiver, and the satisfactory transmission quality is realized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To effectively use the performance of high speed data transmission and to shorten connection time by transmitting ciphered service information, the authentication of a terminal and information for deciphering the ciphered information while separating transmission systems. CONSTITUTION: The intrinsic information 7 of the terminal and the service request 8 of data are transmitted from the terminal 2 through a second transmission system 4 to a service center 1. Then, the center 1 accesses a second data base 1b based on the information 7, reads service information data 10, ciphers them and transmits them through a first transmission system 3 to the terminal 2. Simultaneously, a cryptographic key 9 for deciphering the data 10 ciphered by the center 1 is transmitted through the system 4 to the terminal 2 and the terminal 2 deciphers the ciphered data 10 by using the key 9 and obtains the data 10. Thus, by concentrating on the service information, the system 3 can transmit the required service information within the connection time without losing a high speed property.
