Abstract:
A round sling for raising loads, having an inner nonwoven fabric (2) formed from fibres (2'), and having a sheath (3) which accommodates the inner nonwoven fabric (2) and is formed from a woven fabric. In order for it to be possible to produce such a round sling with improved use properties using weaving technology, the sheath (3) is formed by a woven-fabric tube which butts closely and, as seen in the transverse direction (Q), elastically against the inner nonwoven fabric (2) presses elastically onto the inner nonwoven fabric (2) from a radial direction (R) and has warped threads (4), which are oriented in the direction of the longitudinal course (L) taken by the round sling (1), and a weft thread (5), which is oriented transversely to the longitudinal course (L) taken by the round sling (1).
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a heavy-duty roundsling, which comprises an endless load-bearing core containing multiple turns of a strand material comprising high-performance fibres, and a protective cover made from interlaced strands comprising high-performance fibres, and wherein the mass ratio of high-performance fibres in the core to high-performance fibres in the cover is from 0.15 to 2.0. Said roundsling shows an advantageous combination of properties, like high strength, low weight, and high durability; enabling a higher number of lifting operations than known metal or synthetic slings, especially of heavy goods with e.g. sharp edges.
Abstract:
A belt used as a rope which as a strength higher than that of a rope of the same mass and a substantially circular cross section, and which is provided at both sides thereof with belt portions. This belt consists of a narrow woven material (10) composed of warp and weft yarn (6, 7) of synthetic fiber filaments, and has a belt body (2) extending in the lengthwise direction of the belt, a belt portion (4), and a joint portion (3) for connecting the belt body (2) and belt portion (4) together. The belt body (2) is formed by weaving core strings (5) into a hollow weave texture, and the warp yarn density factor of a hollow weave member (22) is set to not more than 0.700. The belt portion (4) has a woven structure in which the warp yarn (6) in the hollow weave member of the belt body (2) and a part or the whole of the core strings (5) in the belt body (2) are interlaced with the weft yarn. The belt portion has a width W not less than 2.0 times as large as that W^_ of the belt body (2). The joint portion (3) is formed so that it transmutes to a woven structure of the belt body (2) or that of the belt portion (4) in a plurality of steps with its weaving width gradually decreasing or increasing.
