    Abstract: PURPOSE: To collect a predetermined amt. of a liquid sample simply, rapidly and accurately by controlling the movable part of a piston by an electronic control system to stop the same at a desired position and sliding a knob displacement measuring system connecting the displacement of a knob to the control system of the piston. CONSTITUTION: A piston 9 is moved by a motor 11 and transmission mechanisms 12, 13 to be stopped at a desired position by an electronic control system 34. A knob 3 slides reciprocally within a body 1 but the movement of the piston 9 is controlled on the basis of the displacement of the knob by a knob displacement control system 25. The piston 9 in the body 1 is moved and a liquid is sucked in a pipette from a lower end cylinder 2 to be discharged.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make a tip as a metering part easily and rapidly replaceable and to make a pipette more easily usable than pipettes of the same kind by reducing the force required for pressing a remover by a level mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A frame having a handle 1 and an ejection part 2 is provided thereon with the remover 5 movable along the frame in order to project the tip 3 fitted to the bottom end of the frame from the frame. An arm 7 for moving the remover 5 along the frame is disposed as the extension part of the top end of the remover 5. The level mechanism 14 is connected to the arm 7. The level mechanism 14 causes the arm 7 and the remover 5 to be downwardly pushed in order to remove the tip 3 in such a manner that the force necessary for pressing is smaller than the force necessary for opening the tip 3 from the frame.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce the washing cost of rod members by reducing the used amount of a reagent by providing one duct to each row of rod members and positioning the rod member rows in the ducts. CONSTITUTION: Rod members 6 mounted on a plate member 5 in rows are washed with a washing solution or reagent solution. For washing the members 6, one duct 4 is provided to each row of member 6 in a washing container 2 and the members 6 are positioned in the ducts 4. The solution is made to flow by changing the inclination of the ducts 4 in the longitudinal direction by means of a kinematic mechanism 26 between the base 1 of a washing device and the member 2. The solution flows to the common liquid distributing area 8 of the member 2 from a reagent system 3 through a flow-in pipe 11. The solution then enters a common discharging area 9 through each duct 4 and the used solution is discharged to a pipe 10. Therefore, the quantity of the solution required for the washing can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To easily discriminate the position of a disc by providing an electric conductive strip corresponding to the vertical and horizontal lines of a sample disc. CONSTITUTION: A sample disc 1 containing a sample vessel arranged in matrix is placed on a frame 7 which contains an L-shape electric conductive piece 8. In addition, a processing device comprises electric conductive strips for vertical line 9 and horizontal line 10 which correspond to the number of the vertical and horizontal lines of the disc 1, respectively, and a device wherein an electric signal is transmitted from the strip for vertical line 9, and the signal is received from the strip for horizontal line 10. Thus, relating to the position of a measurement well 3 (sample vessel) accompanying the movement of the frame, the detection signal for discriminating a position is obtained by electrical connection between a branch piece of the electric conductive piece 8 and the strips 9 and 10. So position discrimination for a disc is easily performed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase pipette capable of dosing a relatively small quantity of liquid and completely removing the liquid by providing a liquid container which is positioned at the lower end of a casing, and a dosing cylinder and a removing cylinder which are positioned within the casing. SOLUTION: This pipette is provided with the casing consisting of a handle 1 and a terminal part 2 which narrows at the lower end, and an end container 3 is attached to the terminal part 2. The terminal container 3 has a sleeve 4 for removing the container 3. A sleeve-like cylinder part 7 is fitted into a tip bore of the terminal part 2 and a tubular cylinder shaft 13 is fitted into the upside of the cylinder part 7. A piston 18 which is energized upward by a first spring 21 is inserted into the cylinder part 7 and a button shaft 23 is disposed on a broader shaft 19 which is the extending end of the piston 18. The button shaft 23 is screwed to an adjusting ring 26 and the adjusting ring 26 is provided with a stopper 28 and a sleeve 29 for measurement.
