Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for measuring a tire profile is provided to obtain profile data of a tire rotating at a high speed regardless of a photographing speed and a photographing time of a camera because a profile of the tire is obtained by being divided. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a tire profile comprises a profile measuring unit(10), an encoder(20), an encoder signal converting unit(30), and a controlling unit(40). The profile measuring unit measures a profile of a tire rotating. The encoder is installed by being perpendicularly spaced from a rotary center of a tire wheel at a predetermined distance and outputs a rotary origin and a rotary angle of the tire by converting into a pulse shape. The encoder signal converting unit generates a new pulse by shifting an output pulse of the encoder and transmits to the profile measuring unit as measurement signals. The controlling unit rearranges profile measurement data of the tire obtained by the profile measuring unit according to the new pulse received from the encoder signal converting unit, thereby outputting the same.
