    Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) valve is provided to prevent the leakage of the exhaust gas to allow the smooth operation of the valve. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) valve is composed of a housing formed to communicate an inlet, an outlet, and return passages(59) of the exhaust gas with each other, a valve being detachable at a valve seat of the housing to open/close the inlet and outlet passages, an actuator(69) for controlling the opening/closing of the valve(52), an elastic member(61) for elastically biasing the passages closed by the valve in an initial state, a bush(58) for supporting a valve shaft, and a spacing portion(58a) for discharging the exhaust gas leaked through a gap between the valve shaft and bush to a suction system side.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A solenoid valve is provided to improve the appearance of a valve and power consumption by preventing the unnecessary increase of electromagnetic power. CONSTITUTION: The upper part of a hollow plunger(1) is corresponding to a core(4). The lower part of the plunger is smaller than the upper part. A pin hole(13) is formed in the plunger by horizontally penetrating the lower part. A hollow assistant plunger(2) is inserted outside the lower part of the plunger. An assistant orifice(12) is formed by extending to the end of the plunger and the inlet of an orifice(10). Electromagnetic power is not increased though the moving amount of fuel is enlarged by the pressure difference in the assistant plunger.
