Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing Jeonyak using a donkey skin extract and a donkey bone extract of which antioxidant functions are proven. More specifically, the present invention provides a method for producing functional Jeonyak, comprising the steps of obtaining gelatin extracts from donkey skins and donkey bones, respectively; mixing the obtained extracts, and adding a jujube paste, gelatin, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, and black pepper thereto, followed by heating at 50-60°C for 1-2 hours; and pouring the mixture in a mold frame, followed by solidification at 4°C. The Jeonyak produced by the method of the present invention has excellent antioxidant activity, retains neuroprotective activity, does not induce cytotoxicity, and has an excellent flavor, so that Jeonyak with improved health enhancement functionality can be obtained, thereby satisfying desires of modern consumers that value health.

Abstract: 본 발명은 당나귀의 껍질과 사골 추출물의 항산화 기능성을 구명하고 이를 이용한 전약 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게 본 발명은 당나귀 껍질 및 당나귀 사골로부터 젤라틴 추출물을 각각 수득하는 단계; 수득한 추출물을 혼합하고 대추고, 젤라틴, 계피가루, 생강가루 및 후추가루를 첨가하여 1시간~2시간 동안 50~60℃에서 가열하는 단계; 및 성형틀에 부어 4℃에서 굳히는 단계를 포함하는 기능성 전약 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 방법으로 제조된 전약은 항산화 활성이 우수하고 신경세포 보호활성이 있으며 세포 독성을 유발시키지 않으며, 관능미 또한 우수하여 건강 기능성이 향상된 전약을 제공할 수 있으므로, 건강을 중시여기는 현대 소비자의 요구를 충분히 충족시킬 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Chromium-methionine chelate, a production method thereof, and feed additives containing the same are provided, thereby increasing the chromium absorption to domestic animals, so that the meat quality and weight of the domestic animals can be improved. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the chromium-methionine chelate comprises the steps of: (1) adding distilled water into L-type methionine and dissolving methionine at 40 to 60 deg. C; (2) adding inorganic chromium into the dissolved methionine and mixing them; (3) adding alkali solution into the mixture in twice and mixing them; (4) cooling the mixture to 10 to 20 deg. C to form crystals, and crying the crystals; and (5) pulverizing the dried crystals, wherein the inorganic chromium is chromium chloride solution(CrCl3 6H2O); the alkali solution is NaOH solution; and the mole ratio of methionine and inorganic chromium is 2:1. The feed additives contain the chromium-methionine chelate as an effective component.
