    Abstract: PURPOSE: A medium for producing sepiapterin containing a rice protein and a method for producing sepiapterin using the same are provided to obtain high yield and high productivity sepiapterin using rice protein hydrolysate as a nitrogen source. CONSTITUTION: A medium for producing sepiapterin contains a rice protein or a rice protein hydrolysate. The rice protein or the rice protein hydrolysate is added as a nitrogen source.
