    Abstract: PURPOSE: A producing method of a codonopsis lanceolata extract using extra-high pressure is provided to optimize the extraction efficiency for the effective components of codonopsis lanceolata. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a codonopsis lanceolata extract using extra-high pressure comprises a step of low temperature-extra high pressure treating codonopsis lanceolata at 25-35 deg C at a pressure of 200-500MPa for 20-30 minutes to extract effective components from the codonopsis lanceolata. The treating process uses water as a solvent for mixing with the codonopsis lanceolata and vacuum packaging. The effective components in the codonopsis lanceolata include flavonoids, vanilic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, p-coumaric acid, and other compounds.
