    Abstract: A manufacturing method of semi-solid cast iron by a cooling plate, which can manufacture ordinary commercial cast iron by a non-stirring process, is provided. In a manufacturing method of semi-solid cast iron, comprising flowing molten cast iron onto the inclined cooling plate to cool the molten cast iron, and passing the cooled molten cast iron through a preheated mold to manufacture semi-solid cast iron when manufacturing cast iron using an inclined cooling plate(40) which has a protection casting(405) formed on a lower portion thereof such that a cooling water circulation pipe(403) is inserted into the protection casting, and of which an upper portion is formed in a circular arc shape, a manufacturing method of semi-solid cast iron by a cooling plate comprises: allowing the molten cast iron to flow over the inclined cooling plate after maintaining temperature of molten cast iron to 1,300 to 1,340 deg.C during pouring and adjusting an angle of the inclined cooling plate to 5 to 15 degrees; and passing the cooled molten cast iron through a mold preheated to a temperature of 500 to 700 deg.C to manufacture semi-solid cast iron.
