Abstract:
A polarized LED is provided to reduce largely a manufacturing cost by eliminating a polarizing plate in an LCD display device. A nitride thin film layer(20) is formed on a substrate(10). A quantum well layer(30) is formed on the nitride thin film layer. A first grating layer(40) is formed on the quantum well layer. The first grating layer is formed to pass partially the light of the quantum well layer and to reflect partially the light of the quantum well layer. A second grating layer(50) is formed on an upper part of the substrate so that the light reflected from the first grating layer. The first and second grating layers have different grating pattern directions.
