Abstract: PURPOSE: An anti-cancer composition containing microRNA-125 nucleic acid molecule is provided to suppress infiltration and metastasis of cancer cells and angiogenesis. CONSTITUTION: An anti-cancer composition containing microRNA-125 nucleic acid molecule. The microRNA-125 is a microRNA-125a, microRNA-125b1 or microRNA-125b2 which is derived from human. The cancer is brain cancer, cervical cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, liver cancer, prostate cancer, and neuroblastoma. The microRNA-125 nucleic acid molecule is contained in a vector for expressing in a cell. The vector is lentivirus vector, retrovirus vector, adenovirus vector, herpersvirus vector, or avipoxvirus vector. The composition further comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. A composition for treating angiogenesis-relating disease which is induced under hypoxic condition contains the microRNA-125 nucleic acid molecule.

CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing angiogenesis in hypoxic condition contains human-derived microRNA-125a, microRNA-125b1, or microRNA-125b2. A marker composition for diagnosing brain cancer or brain tumor contains an agent which measures microRNA-125 expression level. The microRNA-125 nucleic acid molecule suppresses cancer cell invasion and metastasis. The microRNA-125 nucleic acid molecule is used in treating angiogenesis-associated diseases, especially cancer, which are induced in hypoxia condition.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition for enhancing radiosensitivity, which containing microRNA-21 inhibitor is provided to enhance radiosensitivity of cancer cells and the effect of radiation therapy. CONSTITUTION: A composition for enhancing radiosensitivity contains microRNA-21 inhibitor. The microRNA-inhibitor is antisense nucleic acid molecule which complementarily binds to the microRNA-21 sequence. The microRNA-inhibitor is siRNA(small interfering RNA), RNA aptamer, or ribozyme which is specific to the microRNA. The antisense nucleic acid molecule is anti oligonucleotide. The length of the anti oligonucleotide is 15-40 nucleotide. The anti oligonucleotide comprises sequence of the sequence number 1. The anti oligonucleotide is contained in an expression vector for intracellular delivery. The expression vector is lentivirus, retrovirus, adenovirus, herpes virus, or avipox virus.
