    Abstract: PURPOSE: A distance measuring unit and a method thereof are provided to measure a distance in a high repetition rate pulse repetition frequency radar which is impossible to measure an actual distance. CONSTITUTION: A distance measuring unit includes a phase modulation unit(110), a filter unit(130) and a distance calculation unit(150). The phase modulation unit shifts a phase of a received pulse called reflecting pulse of an input transmitted pulse between transmitting pulses by 180 degrees.
