Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the shear displacement of soil using a servo motor is provided to estimate the shearing strength of soil by simultaneously applying vertical and shearing loads to the soil. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the shear displacement of soil using a servo motor comprises a main frame(10), a servo motor(15), a gear box(16), an elevation member(20), an adapter(40) for measuring shearing displacement, and a controller. An excavator adapter(50) is formed on the top of the main frame. The servo motor and the gear box are installed in a support(14) formed in the inner top of the main frame. The elevation member has a ball screw member(23). The adapter is detachably coupled to the elevation member and measures the shearing torque of soil using a shear ring(47) protruded from the bottom of the main frame. The controller calculates the shearing force of the soil using the signal of the adapter.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for measuring the strength of the ground using a servo motor is provided to enable the accurate measurement of weak soil foundation from the subsidence of the ground according to vertical load. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the strength of the ground using a servo motor comprises a mainframe(10), a servo motor(15), a gear-box(16), an elevating member(20), a subsidence sensing unit(30), an adapter(26) for load-settlement measurement, a pressure plate, and a controller. The mainframe comprises an excavator adapter(50). The excavator adapter is assembled with the bucket fixture of the excavator. The elevating member comprises a screw shaft(21) and a ball screw member(23). The elevating member moves up and down inside the mainframe by the servo motor. The subsidence sensing unit senses the vertical movement of the elevating member. A load cell is installed in the adapter for the load-settlement measurement. The lower end of the adapter for the load-settlement measurement is projected to the lower part of the main frame. The pressure plate is detachably assembled with the lower end of the adapter for the load-settlement measurement. The controller controls the servo motor.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for calculating driving trace and driving distribution using a GPS heading and a program medium for recording the same are provided to apply the road bend data about the entire railway region by effectively producing the driving trace and driving distribution of right and left wheel. CONSTITUTION: A calculating method of driving trace and driving distribution using a GPS heading comprises the following steps. The time and distance data of a vehicle are received from a GPS sensor attached to a vehicle(3). The time and distance data of a vehicle are calculated using the received time and distance data of a vehicle(4-1). The relative coordinate of a vehicle is obtained by applying a heading to the calculated driving distance of a vehicle(4-2). The obtained relative coordinate makes a coordinate transformation(5-1). The driving trace of a vehicle is calculated using the transformed coordinate. The driving distribution is calculated using the calculated driving trace(5-4).
