    Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust gas recycling control device and an exhaust gas recycling control method are provided to calculate the amount of exhaust-gas recirculation (EGR) gas, which is recycled to the intake manifold, without installing a separate sensor. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas recycling control device includes an EGR valve (10), a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (30), and a control unit (70). The EGR valve controls the amount of EGR gas that is recycled to the intake manifold from the exhaust manifold. The MAP sensor measures the pressure of the intake manifold. The control unit is transferred with the pressure value of the intake manifold, calculates the pressure of the EGR gas, and converts the pressure of the EGR gas into the flow rate of the EGR gas.
