Abstract: An under-steer induction structure for a knuckle ball joint is provided to induce under-steer and ensure a stable driving during a turning operation by downwardly moving a knuckle ball in left/right directions. An under-steer induction structure for a knuckle ball joint comprises two links(520) and an actuator(540). The under-steer induction structure is formed vertically to a knuckle ball(420) inserted into a knuckle arm connection(300) having a semi-circular slot(320) such that a knuckle arm(100) installed at left/right wheel shafts is movably engaged with a tie rod(200). The links are engaged with the knuckle ball to control left/right movement of the knuckle ball. The actuator is engaged to the links to operate one of links responding to an operational direction of the tie rod.

Abstract: An understeer inducing device for a vehicle is provided to install a first ball joint to move towards a lower direction along a first slot for inducing the under steer when the vehicle is cornering, and to prevent uneven wear of tires by installing a spring to return a second ball joint moved to left or right back to a center upper part. An understeer inducing device for a vehicle comprises a first slot(13) formed on one end of a tie rod(16), a knuckle socket(18) mounted to a knuckle arm(17) and having a second slot(14) on an upper part, a damper(15) having upper and lower ends combined to a ball joint(11) through first and second slots, and a joint link(20) connected to the ball joint combined to a lower end of the damper and having a lower end hinge coupled to a center of the second slot. The ball joint includes a first ball joint(10) combined to the upper end of the damper, and a second ball joint(12) combined to the lower end of the damper. First and second ball joints are combined to the damper through first and second slots respectively. The first slot is in a straight line shape, and when the vehicle is cornering, the first joint is moved to left or right along the first slot. The second slot is in circular shape, and when the vehicle is cornering, moves to left lower part, center upper part, or right lower part along the second slot. A spring(19) is installed in the damper and connected to first and second ball joints and when the vehicle is traveling in straight line, returns first and second ball joints to the center upper part.
