Abstract: PURPOSE: A positive crankcase ventilation is provided to prevent the freezing of blow-by gas by restricting heat exchange between the blow-by gas and exterior air. CONSTITUTION: A positive crankcase ventilation comprises a chamber(15) which is formed in a specific part of an intake manifold, which is isolated from exterior air, opposite to an engine in order to lead blow-by gas to the intake system of an engine. The chamber is formed by mounting a cover to an intake manifold body(14) of the intake manifold. The intake manifold body has a connection hole(14a) connected to the intake system of the engine and a drain hole(14b) for discharging moisture.

Abstract: A variable air intake manifold is provided to reduce flow loss of airflow because the bell mouse shape is implemented even in case of using the variable valve of the butterfly type in the intake manifold. The flange shell forms a surge tank. The center shell is installed at a periphery of the flange shell through welding.
