Abstract: 본 발명은 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널(Plasma Display Panel: PDP)에서 안정적인 고속구동, 저전압 및 고명암비 구현을 위하여 서스테인 전극에 램프-다운 구간과 램프-업 구간을 순차적으로 갖는 서스테인 전압을 인가하고, 램프-다운 구간에서 일정한 레벨의 어드세르 전압을 어드레스 전극에 인가하고 상기 어드레스 전압보다 상대적으로 높은 스캔 전압을 스캔 전극에 인가하는 PDP 구동 장치, PDP 구동 방법, 및 PDP 디스플레이 장치에 관한 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A plasma display panel driving device, a display device including the driving device, and a method for driving a plasma display are provided to use lower initial voltage by applying an initial wave of negative slope to a sustain electrode in an initial section. CONSTITUTION: In a plasma display panel driving device, a display device including the driving device, and a method for driving a plasma display, 0V address voltage is applied to an address electrode in an initial section. A scan voltage is supplied to the scan electrode in the specific section of a ramp-down section. The scan voltage is formed by adding bias voltage to 0V. Reduction voltage of the address voltage is compensated.
