CONSTITUTION: A method of replacing the tendon of a TLP-type floating member(100) is as follows. Tension control units are provided to be corresponded to each of tendons of the floating member. If there is a need for a tendon to be replaced, the tendon is replaced with other tendon. Before replacing, the tension of that tendon to be replaced is reduced using a corresponding tension control unit. Before reducing the tension of that tendon, a candidate tendon is arranged between the floating member and a foundation. After replacing that tendon, the candidate tendon is removed.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a mooring system of a tension leg platform (TLP) and, more specifically, a mooring system of a TLP which is provided to have risers installed inside a tendon, thereby preventing the risers from colliding with each other or being damaged by fatigue due to an external force such as tidal current and wind; to reduce vortex induced vibration (VIV) generated around the risers by the tidal current, thereby extending the fatigue life of the riser; and to significantly reduce hours for installing the riser, thereby saving hours and expenses required for marine construction.
