Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a decorative color stainless steel sheet by nonpolluting dry vacuum deposition is provided which forms a ZrN ceramic thin film on the stainless steel sheet using DC magnetron sputtering. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a decorative color stainless steel sheet by nonpolluting dry vacuum deposition is characterized in that the method comprises a process in which far more various colors are revealed, factors causing pollution are removed, and a color steel sheet having superior cohesiveness and surface roughness is manufactured when depositing a ZrN ceramic thin film on the stainless steel sheet by varieties of physical and chemical depositions compared with an ordinary wet chemical coating, wherein the method comprises the process of DC sputtering, cathode arc sputtering, ion beam sputtering, electron beam deposition, hollow cathode discharging, or ion plating so as to manufacture the ZrN thin film.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Disclosed is a volatile organic compounds (VOC) control system using a bi-functional catalyst by an adsorption and an oxidation processes. The used catalyst plays two roles for adsorption and oxidation of VOC. CONSTITUTION: The system (100) is composed of a feed section (110), a blower (120), an adsorption section (130), an oxidation section (140), an exhaust section (150), a pipe (160,162,164,172,174), a heat exchanger (170), a blower (120), a heater (134, 144), and a control section. The flue gas is induced into the adsorption section (130) by the blower (120) through the feed section (110) and the pipe (160). The catalyst for adsorption and oxidation is composed of one species of ZSM-5, alumina, or titania as catalytic support and one species of Cu, Cr, Co, Pt, Pd, or metal oxides as active composition. The adsorption process is operated below 50 deg.C or at ambient condition. When the adsorption process over the catalyst (132) gets the set point of adsorbing concentration, the heater (134) is operated to increase the inner temperature of the adsorption section (130) and desorb the adsorbed gas on the catalyst (132). The temperature of the desorption is an ambient temperature or below 300 deg.C. The desorbed VOC gas is induced into the oxidation section (140) through a pipe (162) and oxidized at 250-500 deg.C. The blower (120) for induction of flue gas containing VOC or exhaust of the treated gas is set at the front part of the feed section (110) or the rear part of the exhaust section (150).

Abstract: PURPOSE: Disclosed are a catalyst for controlling volatile organic compound (VOC) and preparation method thereof. CONSTITUTION: The VOC controlling catalyst is mainly composed of ZSM-5 zeolite support and one active species of copper, chromium, cobalt, platinum, or palladium. The weight ratio of the support and the active species is 1 - 3 and the optimal impregnating weight is 1 - 25 wt% based on the zeolite support weight. The slurry is prepared by the mixing of precursor of metal or metal oxide and solution dissolved with zeolitic support and dried at 100 - 125 deg. C over 12 hours and then calcined at 550 - 600 deg.C for 5 - 10 h under air atmosphere. About 4,000 ppm of VOC is adsorbed on the prepared catalyst about 50 deg.C and decomposed completely at 300 deg.C.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of making transparent conductive thin film is provided to reduce a target fabrication cost and to be coated on a plastic substrate, by making the transparent conductive thin film at a lower temperature below 200 deg.C using a powder target. CONSTITUTION: A direct current magnetron sputtering equipment is used in order to fabricate a transparent conductive indium tin oxide(ITO) film using a powder target. ITO powder(90wt% In2O3+10wt% SnO2) is inserted in a circular copper container of a two-inch size and then pressure is forced to the powder. A sola lime glass and a PET film are used as a substrate. When fabricating a thin film, the PET film of the substrate is not heated and a temperature is maintained at a room temperature(within 50 deg.C).
