Abstract: PURPOSE: A solubilization method of Anglica gigas Nakai through an extrusion molding process is provided to enhance the yield and solubility of an Anglica gigas Nakai extract. CONSTITUTION: Anglica gigas Nakai is solubilized using a biaxial extruder. The biaxial extruder comprises an ingredient supply unit, an ingredient kneading disk, an extrusion die, a forward transfer screw, a reverse transfer screw, and a barrel heater. The solubilization of Anglica gigas Nakai improves the yield and water solubility of an Anglica gigas Nakai extract. A composition for antioxidation contains the Anglica gigas Nakai extract.
