PURPOSE: AtSZF2 gene which enhances resistance to salt stress in a plant is provided to transform a recombinant vector in a plant cell and to overexpress AtSZF2 gene. CONSTITUTION: AtSZF2 gene which enhances resistance to salt stress in a plant is overexpressed by transforming a recombinant vector containing Arabidopsis thaliana-AtSZF2(Arabidopsis thaliana salt-inducible zinc finger protein 2) into a plant cell. AtSZF2 gene has a base sequence of sequence number 1.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of increasing the content of syringin and coniferin in a soybean plant compared to a wild form by transforming soybean plant cells with a recombinant vector including a gene coding the recombinant glycosyltransferase UGT72E-3/2 protein, a method for producing transgenic soybean plants with an increased content of syringin and coniferin compared to the wild form, transgenic soybean plants with an increased content of syringin and coniferin compared to the wild form produced thereby and seeds thereof, and a composition for increasing the content of syringin and coniferin in soybean plants including the recombinant vector as an active ingredient. When a gene coding the recombinant glycosyltransferase UGT72E-3/2 protein of the present invention is used, soybean plants containing a large quantity of syringin and coniferin which are not produced in general wild form soybeans can be produced. Accordingly, soybeans with high functionality and high quality are able to be produced, thereby expected to be useful in revitalizing the soybean food industry.

The present invention relates to a method for cultivating tomatoes with high content lycopene and, more specifically, to a method for cultivating tomatoes containing high content lycopene, which is an active ingredient of the tomatoes and which has anti-oxidative and anti-cancer activities. A feature of the method for cultivating tomatoes with high content lycopene is that Flavobacterium sp. or Chryseobacterium indologenes is treated to the soil at a planting step. According to the present invention, the lycopene content of the tomatoes is increased by treating Flavobacterium sp. or Chryseobacterium indologenes to the soil at the planting step. Therefore, the cultivating method has an advantage of mass producing the lycopene having functions in controlling or inactivating free oxygen radicals, which damages a human body.

CONSTITUTION: PAC multiple expression gene which enhances the carotenoid content in a plant comprises a promoter, Capsicum annuum-derived Psy(phytoene synthase) gene, foot-and-mouth disease virus-derived 2A nucleotide sequence, Oryza sativa-derived TP(transpeptide) gene, and Erwinia uredovora-derived CrtI(carotene desaturase) gene from 5' to 3'.
