    Abstract: PURPOSE: A signal extracting device is provided to improve a CNR(Carrier-to Noise Ratio) by generating PRZ(Pseudo Return-to-Zero). CONSTITUTION: A clock extracting unit extracts a clock from an NRZ signal. Interval lattice is regularly arranged in parallel. A generating unit generates a clock signal by using an optical fiber ring laser which is locked with the interval lattice. The interval lattice is constructed as a cladding mode and a core mode.
