Abstract: PURPOSE: An organic light emitting display device and a manufacturing method thereof is provided to prevent oxygen and water from being permeated by forming a bonding layer which consists of a metal oxide or a metal-nitride and improving the bonding force of a metal sheet and an encapsulating unit. CONSTITUTION: An organic light emitting unit(3) is formed in one side of a substrate(1). A passivation film(4) is formed to cover the organic light emitting unit. A metal sheet(2) is formed by facing the substrate. The metal sheet is bonded with a sealing material(51) in the substrate. The sealing material forms a closed loop in order to surround the organic light emitting unit and the passivation film.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A flat panel display apparatus and an organic light emitting display apparatus are provided to embody a membrane type display which is thinner than using a glass material substrate as an encapsulating material since a metal sheet is able to be manufactured as a membrane with the thickness of some micrometers using the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A flat panel display apparatus(100) is comprised of a substrate(110), a display part(120), a metal sheet(130), a sealing material(150), and a polymer layer(140). The display part is included on the substrate in order to embody images. The metal sheet is arranged facing to the substrate. The sealing material is filled in a space between the substrate and metal sheet and seals the substrate and metal sheet. The polymer layer is arranged in one side of the metal sheet and has smaller thermal expansion coefficient than the metal sheet.
