Abstract: An amplifying circuit of a cascade structure prevents damage to an internal element of a transistor due to the high voltage by controlling the current flowing in the transistor according to a magnitude of a supply voltage. A variable resistance part(100) is connected to a power voltage terminal and an output signal terminal. The internal resistance is varied by the control voltage. The current flowing from the power supply voltage to earth is controlled. An amplifier(200) is connected between the variable resistance part and the earth. The input signal is amplified by the amplifier. A capacitor is connected between the output signal terminal and the earth. A resistance variable controller(300) generates a control voltage according to the magnitude of the power supply voltage.

Abstract: A distributive type power amplifier is provided to reduce power loss and to enhance power efficiency by selecting a plurality of power amplification paths having different levels of impedance. A power amplifier unit(100) includes a plurality of power amplifiers(100-1,100-2,100-n). The power amplifiers receive input signals through an input terminal(IN) and amplify the received signals. Each of the power amplifiers is independently turned on or turned off. A matching unit(200) includes a plurality of matching elements(200-1,200-2,200-n). The matching units are connected to an output terminal(OUT) and are connected serially to each other. The matching units have predetermined output impedance. An input matching unit(50) is connected to a signal line between the input terminal and the power amplifier unit.

Abstract: An electrostatic discharge device for a bonding pad is provided to solve a problem of the occupying area of an electrostatic discharge device and miniaturize an integrated circuit by disposing a diode under a bonding pad wherein an electrostatic discharge circuit is constituted by the diode. A conductive layer for connecting a power terminal and a conductive layer for connecting a ground terminal are connected to the power terminal and the ground terminal, respectively. A first PN diode part(36) is formed in a first region of a semiconductor substrate region under a bonding pad, serially connected between a signal line and the conductive layer for connecting the power terminal. A second PN diode part(37) is formed in a second region of the semiconductor substrate region under the bonding pad, serially connected between the signal line and the conductive layer for connecting the ground terminal. The first and the second PN diode parts are composed of a plurality of unit cells(36a,36b,37a,37b) having impurity regions of first and the second conductivity types to form PN junctions, respectively.
