Abstract: PURPOSE: An injection base plastic having metallic appearance and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to express the metallic appearance of various patterns on the surface of the injection base plastic and to enable a user to apply the injection base plastic on the outer shape of a product by forming a thin film primer coating layer. CONSTITUTION: An injection base plastic having metallic appearance comprises: an injection base plastic in which various patterns are formed on the surface of the injection base plastic due to a mold discharge corrosion; a thin film primer coating layer preserving surface texture of the injection base plastic and enhance reflectance to the surface of the injection base plastic; a non-conductive metal deposition layer which is deposited on the surface of the injection base plastic; a color coating layer forming the surface of the non-conductive metal deposition layer; and a clear layer which is formed on the surface of the color coating layer.

The method comprises the steps of preparing polybutadiene polyol and polyolefinic acid to obtain an oligomer composition; adding 2-10 wt% of a urethane resin-based matting agent, 2-10 wt% of a silica-based matting agent, 2-10 wt% of a liquid silicone additive, 0.1-1 wt% of a dibutyl tin dilaurylate, 10-30 wt% of toluene, 20-50 wt% of cyclohexanone and 0.1-1 wt% of an antifoaming agent to 30-50 wt% of the oligomer composition; and mixing the obtained composition with a curing agent in a ratio of 3:1.
