Abstract: Disclosed are a multimedia processing system and an operating method thereof. A multimedia processing system according to embodiments of the present invention comprises: a plurality of first units including a central processing unit (CPU) and a top domain; a storage domain to store a plurality of multimedia data; a multimedia codec domain to decode segments of target multimedia data loaded from the storage domain and to output the decoded segments to the outside according to control of the CPU or the top domain; a system bus to connect the plurality of first units, the storage domain, and the multimedia codec domain with one another; and an alive domain which controls power supply to each of the plurality of first units, the storage domain, the multimedia codec domain, and the system bus and includes a user interface for receiving an input signal from a user. In the multimedia processing system of the present invention, the plurality of first units, the storage domain and the system bus are switched into a low power mode while the multimedia codec domain performs a decoding process.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic fine tuning is provided to determine whether a correct tuning point is present in a local oscillation center frequency upon setting a channel automatically and store a corresponding channel number in a memory in case that the correct tuning point is present. CONSTITUTION: In an automatic fine tuning, the first step is provided, wherein a channel is selected while the channels are increased sequentially from a most significant channel to a least significant channel. In the second step, a control data corresponding to a local oscillation center frequency(F0) for the selected channel is generated. In the third step, it is determined whether a tuning point is a correct tuning point after fine-tuning by the oscillation frequency of the local oscillation part generated corresponding to the control data. In the fourth step, in case that the tuning point is a correct tuning point according to the determined result of the third step, the corresponding channel number stores in a memory and it is feedbacked to the first step. In the fifth step, in case that the tuning point is not a correct tuning point according to the determined result of the third step, the control data is increased from a minimum frequency by a desired step interval after fine-tuning the control data and it is feedbacked to the third step.

Abstract: To prevent process defects and wafer damage caused by improperly positioned wafers, a system and method for detecting a position of a wafer determines whether the wafer is properly positioned before executing a process. The system includes a chuck plate preferably having a supporting part configured to support a lower face of the wafer and a guide part located on a perimeter of the supporting part. A sensing unit senses a positional state of the wafer on an upper portion of the supporting part. A controller receives a signal corresponding to the positional state of the wafer from the sensing unit, and determines whether the wafer is properly positioned. The controller then sends an output control signal to an outputting unit to notify an operator of the wafer position. In this manner, process defects are avoided and a fabricating yield and operating rate of a fabrication unit increases.
