    Abstract: PURPOSE: A plasma generation method and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform two different functions of passive deodorization and active sterilization by generating functional mist with the interaction of active species with steam or liquid droplet. CONSTITUTION: A plasma electrode part(2) produces active species including ion or radical using micro gap plasma. An air flow system(3) is prepared outside the plasma electrode part. The air flow system compulsively sends wind to the plasma electrode part. A liquid droplet supply device(4) supplies liquid droplets to the plasma electrode part An explosion-proof device is arranged at the outside of the plasma electrode part to prevent flame generated from the plasma electrode part from being spread to the outside. A power supply(6) applies high voltages to the plasma electrode part.
