PURPOSE: A stand type air conditioner for reducing installation space is provided to improve the satisfaction of a customer, maximize cold/heat efficiency of the air conditioner and improve the efficiency of the entire cycle. CONSTITUTION: A stand type air conditioner for reducing installation space includes a main body(10), a ventilation fan and an indoor heat exchanger(200). The main body includes an air discharge pipe. The ventilation fan is arranged in order to discharge the air to the air discharge pipe. The indoor heat exchanger prepares for the heat exchange of the inhaled air between the air discharge pipe and the ventilation fans.

본 발명은 공기조화기 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 실내온도 및 실내습도의 상대적인 크기에 따라 현열비를 달리하는 운전을 함으로서 실내공간을 더욱 쾌적하게 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 냉매가 분리되어 이동하는 복수의 유로를 가지는 열교환부; 및 상기 복수의 유로에 각각 설치되고 실내온도 및 실내습도에 상응하여 각각 개도가 제어되는 팽창장치;를 포함하는 장치로 구성된다.

PURPOSE: A turbo fan of an air-conditioner is provided to form an air channel by dividing a shroud structure into two parts, thereby reducing noise by dispersing air re-flowing into a space between a bellmouth and a shroud through the air channel. CONSTITUTION: A turbo fan of an air-conditioner comprises a first shroud(10), a second shroud(20), a hub(30), and a blade(40). An air inflow hole is formed in the first shroud. The second shroud is formed by being spaced at a predetermined distance outwardly to a radius direction of the first shroud. An air channel is formed in between the first and second shrouds. The hub is axle-rotated by a rotary shaft of a driving motor. The blade is formed along a circumferential direction of the hub, thereby guiding the air flowing in through the air inflow hole to the circumferential direction of the hub.

PURPOSE: An air-conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to prevent the change of the heat exchange property according to the location of a flow path. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises a heat exchanger and expansion devices(7,8). The heat exchanger has a plurality of flow paths(11,12) in which the refrigerant flow. The expansion device is respectively installed in a plurality of flow paths. An opening degree of the expansion device is controlled relative to the indoor temperature and indoor humidity.
