Abstract: An evaporation apparatus which can measure usage of an organic matter is provided, and a method of forming an organic layer, which can grasp the consumption of an organic matter, is provided. In an evaporation apparatus for evaporating an organic matter through a stabilization step, a deposition step, and a cooling step, the evaporation apparatus comprises: an evaporation source(40) which evaporates the organic matter, and comprises a heat source; a substrate fixing part for fixing a substrate; a sensor(50) for sensing the evaporation intensity of the organic matter; a control part(60) for calculating a deposition thickness of the organic matter through the stabilization step, the deposition step, and the cooling step using the evaporation intensity sensed by the sensor; and a consumption calculating part(70) for calculating the consumption of the organic matter by using a conversion factor between the deposition thickness of the organic matter and usage of the organic matter and the deposition thickness calculated by the control part.

Abstract: A method for controlling luminance, a color conversion apparatus using the same, and an OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) display device thereof are provided to enhance image quality by adjusting the luminance of primary color data and white data using a scaling vector. A color conversion apparatus includes an extracting unit, adders(SUM1,SUM2), a scale vector generating unit(460), and multipliers. The extracting unit extracts gray scaled first white component data and gray scaled first primary component data, and luminance scaled second white component data and luminance scaled second primary component data in response to gray data. The adders produce a primary color addition value based on the second primary component data and a white addition value based on the second white component data. The scale vector generating unit generates a primary color scale vector and a white scale vector in response to the primary color addition value and the white addition value. The multipliers(MUL1,MUL2) output scaled primary color gray data and scaled white gray data by multiplying the first primary component data with the primary color scale vector and the first white component data with the white scale vector, respectively.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming an organic layer is provided to analyze a thickness of the organic layer for each position of a substrate by mounting a deposition speed sensing unit for sensing deposition speed of an organic material according to a position of the substrate between a substrate fixing unit and an organic cell. An apparatus(1000) for forming an organic layer includes a vacuum chamber(100), an organic cell(200), a substrate fixing unit(300), a deposition speed sensing unit(400), and a thickness analyzing unit(500). The organic cell injects an organic material(10) in the vacuum chamber. The substrate fixing unit is installed in the vacuum chamber, which fixes a substrate(20) deposited with the organic layer by the organic material. The deposition speed sensing unit is installed around the substrate fixing unit between the organic cell and the substrate fixing unit, which senses the deposition speed of the organic material according to a position of the substrate. The thickness analyzing unit is connected to the deposition speed sensing unit which analyzes a thickness of the organic layer through the sensed deposition speed.
