Abstract: PURPOSE: A power measuring device and a robot arm with the same are provided to accurately measure power without the influence of an electric field by using a strain gauge of an optical fiber type. CONSTITUTION: A power measuring device comprises an elastically transformable body(11), at least three optical fiber lattice elements(13), a light source(22), and an optical detector(23). The body is extended along an axial direction. The optical fiber lattice elements are attached to the surface of the body and extended along the axial direction of the body. The light source provides lights to each of the optical fiber lattice elements. The optical detector senses the lights reflected by the optical fiber lattice elements or the lights penetrated through the optical fiber lattice elements.
