Abstract: Disclosed is an image matching apparatus. An image matching apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an input part which inputs a first image, a detection part which applies a digital filter having a predetermined mask size according to the depth information of the inputted first image to detect an interest point and sets a descriptor vector which represents the feature of the detected interest point, and a matching part which compares the interest point of the inputted first image and the interest point of the inputted second image based on the set descriptor vector, and decides the similarity between images.
