A display apparatus for compensating optical parameters by using the forward voltage of an LED and a method thereof are provided to compensate the change of optical output according to temperature change by using the forward voltage of a light source that varies according to the temperature change. A display apparatus for compensating optical parameters by using the forward voltage of an LED includes a display, a light source(220) and a controller(150). The light source scans the light generated from one light source onto a display, and the controller controls the driving of the light source by using the forward voltage for the one light source.
Abstract:
A method for driving a display device is provided to generate excess brightness than regular value from a backlight unit. An LCD device comprises an image processor(110), a backlight unit(120), and an LCD panel(130). The image processor produces a converted image signal which is adaptable to the LCD panel, and generates brightness control signal which is needed for the backlight unit. The backlight unit generates proper amount light according to the brightness control signal to the LCD panel. The backlight unit comprises a driving part(121), and a light source(122). The driving part generates driving current for driving the light source unit based on the received brightness control signal. The LCD panel adjusts the transmittance rate of the light from the light source and displays image on the screen.

PURPOSE: A signal generating method for three dimensional image view and an image viewing apparatus thereof including a shutter glass are provided to view three dimensional image regardless of whether to exist obstacles between a display device and a shutter glass. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing signal for the three-dimensional image watching is as follows. The first synchronous signal synchronized with the video signal about the right eye image and left-eye image and is received. The second synchronizing signals are generated a part is repetitively used among the first synchronous signal. The output signal is produced the first synchronous signal and the second synchronizing signals are compounded(S460).
