    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for determining the co-ordinates of a satellite is provided to reduce a calculating time and cost for determining the current values of the orbital position of an artificial satellite. CONSTITUTION: A satellite co-ordinates is determined at given nodal points of the orbit which are spaced from each other by a predetermined time interval and also the velocity of the satellite is determined at additional nodal points. The velocity and co-ordinates of SRNS(Satellite Radio Navigation System) GLONASS satellite at the nodal points of the orbit are determined through a calculation algorithm and a Taylor's sixth-order polynomial. The satellite co-ordinates at points located between the nodal points is determined through a Taylor's second-order or third-order polynomial. The coefficients of the polynomials are determined by the co-ordinates and velocity at the nodal points.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A code generator is provided to minimize the number of components in an equipment used and simplify the structure by using the common elements of the generator for generating both codes. CONSTITUTION: A receiving signal of the GPS and GLONASS SRNS(Satellite Radio-Navigation Systems) is converted a frequency, modulated, and is processed the digital correlation. A generator for generating a code of pseudo-random sequences is used as reference code generators during the digital correlation processing of signals in multi-channel receivers for receiving pseudo-noise signals. The generator for the SNRS operates in two modes, i.e. a mode for generating a code of pseudo-random sequences for the GPS system and a mode for generating a code of pseudo-random sequences for the GLONASS system. This result can be achieved by an optimization of the connection and interaction between the standard components of the generator.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A receiver intended for the reception of pseudo-noise signals from the satellite radio-navigation systems is provided to reduce a code tracking error by multipath distortion and to generate a clock frequency and a heterodyne frequency signal with less frequency mixer. CONSTITUTION: A receiver for pseudo-noise signals from satellite radio-navigation systems uses the GLONASS and GPS systems. The signal outputs and the clock output of a radio-frequency converter(2) are connected respectively to the first and second signal and clock inputs of a N-channel digital correlation unit. A mixer is provided in each channel of a second signal-frequency converter in the radio-frequency converter. The output of said mixer is connected to the channel output through an amplifier with an adjustable amplification ratio and through a threshold device which are connected in series. The reference input of the second-channel mixer in the second signal-frequency converter is connected to the output of a signal with a second heterodyne frequency in an apparatus for generating clock- and heterodyne-frequency signals. A first and a second frequency splitting units are further connected in series to the apparatus. The receiver is characterized by its reduced dimensions and in that it does not include any complex elements such as a sampling circuit.
