Abstract: An apparatus for providing mobile IPv6 is provided to quickly sense when a mobile node moves to a new link, transmit packets necessary for binding, and quickly process a response packet by realizing hardware for providing the mobile IPv 6, thereby efficiently supporting mobility. An apparatus(300) for providing mobile IPv6 comprises the followings: a mobile reception processor(323) which outputs home addresses of a mobile node and correspondent node and header information related to mobility according to whether a received packet is a binding packet or a data packet; a binding cache(302) and a binding update storage(303) for storing binding information that the mobile node has received and transmitted; and a binding receiver(325) which receives a binding message generated by the correspondent node, receives home address information of the mobile node and correspondent node from the mobile reception processor(323) and provides information about the binding message to the bonding cache(302) and binding update storage(303).

Abstract: 본 발명은 모바일 네트워크에서의 노드간 유효시간 동기화 방법에 관한 것으로, 이동 노드가 유효시간(Lifetime) 정보 및 바인딩 업데이트 메시지의 생성 시각에 관한 정보를 포함하는 바인딩 업데이트 메시지를 생성하여 전송하면, 상대 노드가 바인딩 업데이트 메시지를 수신하고, 메시지를 수신한 시각과 메시지의 생성 시각을 비교하여 비교 결과를 수신된 유효시간에 반영하여 새로운 유효시간을 저장하되, 상대 노드가 수신한 초기 유효시간과는 다른 제2 유효시간을 설정하고 설정된 제2 유효시간을 포함하는 바인딩 응답 메시지를 생성, 전송하는 경우에는, 바인딩 응답 메시지를 수신한 이동 노드가, 이동 노드의 바인딩 업데이트 리스트에 저장된 잔여 유효시간에서 상기 초기 유효시간과 상기 제2 유효시간의 차이를 뺀 값을 새로운 잔여 유효시간으로 설정하도록 함으로써, 이동 노드와 상대 노드간 통신 파라미터의 불일치를 제거하여 두 노드간 통신 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Abstract: A method for synchronizing the lifetime of binding messages between mobile nodes is provided to improve the communication quality between an MN(Mobile Node) and a CN(Correspondent Node) by synchronizing the remaining lifetime value of an MN with the remain lifetime value of a CN and eliminating inconsistency of communication parameters between the two nodes. An MN creates a binding update message containing lifetime information and message creation time information(S601) and transmits it to a CN(S602). Receiving the binding update message from the MN, the CN compares message reception time with creation time of the binding update message, incorporates the comparison result into lifetime information of the binding update message, and calculates/stores a new lifetime(S603).
